Ok I have a HF Merc but where do you train them effectively mine always die when I go to train them. My sorc is level 73-74, and I usually get mercs around that level and its been a few weeks since I was on, no internet.

get your sorc some life leech and he will be fine! and dont forget to give him some potions now and then. you can train him everywhere imo but areas without shooty monsters are best so he can better use LL.

before merc u brought were slighly below you lvl i liked nm hall's of vaught/pain/3th hall of which i cant remember the name also ll helps as does dr and res

Your merc can´t have a higher level than you. Since you can always buy mercs up to one level below you, you only would have to improve your own level to get a better merc.
