Another aura question

Im building a bow-enchantress. If i equip Dream helm giving me holy shock aura, will lightning mastery enhance its damage ( on a ranged attack with my bow ) ?

i know that it will work with melee attacks (such as when using beast and dual dream sorc build) so i'm pretty sure it will also work with the bow.

it wont work on a bow. that would be too godly ;)

Wrong, it does work on a bow, but at reduced level. You'll only have level 15 base aura vs. level 30 with the shield too. And then you only get lightning mastery included once (apparently), the character screen is bugged. So you'll still do pretty decent damage, just not the insane 25,000 average of melee.

You can still make Hand of Justice on a bow, and wear the Dragon armor for the big fire aura (with mastery) too. The damage will be very very respectable, though you'll really have to push your IAS hard to make it viable.
