Need help on a build

Hi there! I have recently gotten into diablo again after a couple of years break, and my previous wisdom of sorc builds has slowly faded away. The first thing I need to do is to get started on building a mf sorc, this is where you come in! :)

Well, what I was wondering about is what sorc-build are best fit for pindleruns? I vaguely remember using a blizz\fo combo wich worked pretty good since pindle are rarely immune to cold. Is this still correct? Anyway if you got a better build to recommend it will be warmly appreciated :)

I was also wondering what items (elite) I can use while still keeping the mf around 500% or above. I'm going for fast kill while still keeping the mf percentage pretty high. Also, what hireling would you recommend?

I remember the most lucrative place to look for items is at pindle's, if this has changed much since patch 1.10 please let me know.

Pindle has received a big nerf, but he's still a favorite for some very rare uniques. He'll often be cold immune, but your merc should be able to take him anyway - a dual element sorc will be good, too. But just starting out, I'd say Mephisto rules (nm if you can't tackle hell), even though the teleport has tripled in length. Blizzard is the best bet for an untwinked mf'er.

Hm, when you mention it I think I had a fireball\blizzard combo that worked pretty well also, might look into that, thank you :smiley: I noticed there allready is a build recipe in the sticky thread allready, so that is at least taken care of.

Regarding pindle, what itemlevel is he on at the moment, it's sad they decided to narrow down the spectre of his quality-item droplevel, if I can call it that :tongue: But he is still the main mf place in the new patch, right... I'm way to lazy to find my way down to baal\meph all the time :grin:

not postive, but I think pindle is TC 89 (which is one of the highest, if not THE highest TC out there)

my blizzard sorc setup:

um shako
35 mf 5 res all magical ammy
2x nagel
chancies
25 mf rare fhr/frw/str/resist boots
goldwrap
35 spirit monarch
viper

on switch: eth gull/rhyme shield and i switch to wealth armor for more mf

i almost have 600 mf with this build (including charms of course)

all postive resists, bout 5k blizz damage, takes out andy//mephy//non-ci pindle in under 5 minutes

go with blizzard, it's coooooool (no pun intended)
