repair costs.....

hi i was wondering if anyone knows exactly how much it costs to repair a grief zerker?

having thoughts between that one and botd, but i'm not sure since botd is no repair costs on, and i have a feeling that grief would be like 500k each repair:lipsrsealed:

could anyone plz enlighten me :smiley:

1 Ort Rune + Weapon = Fully Repaired Weapon
Use this Rune + Your Horadric Cube to repair your weapon. You cannot repair Ethereal items.

1 Ral Rune + Armor = Fully Repaired Armor Use this Rune + Your Horadric Cube to repair your armor. You cannot repair ethereal armor.

1 Ort Rune + 1 Chipped Gem (any kind) + Weapon = Fully Repaired and Recharged Weapon
You cannot repair ethereal weapons.

1 Ral Rune + 1 Flawed Gem (any kind) + Armor = Fully Repaired and Recharged Armor
You cannot repair ethereal armor. Armor refers to any sort of armor, including helms, boots, belts, gloves and shields, not just body armor.

If your Berserker Axe is not superior, it will cost approximately 18K gold to fully repair (i.e. all 26 points), which will be quite often - during a full torch run (all 3 key minibosses as well as Tristram) with my smiter (with 1 point Zeal), I need to fully repair at least twice, possibly 3 times.

If it IS superior, however, expect it to cost well over 1 MILLION gold to fully repair.

It is for this reason that I never use superior items in runewords unless I never plan on repairing it, either from the runeword granting Indestructibility (or auto-repair) or if I'm giving the item to a mercenary - in such cases, the item generally ends up being ethereal as well.

You probably won't find enough Ort runes for that. In the last season my zealer had a Grief zerker and when he was doing solo Baal runs the hard way (i.e. without teleporting), it needed repair once per 1-2 runs. That was pretty annoying, but thank god it had 34+ IAS (max speed WW breakpoint), so I sold it for a crappy Grief PB plus a few Ist runes. That one was good enough to kill anything that doesn't cast IM, explodes on its death or has lots of life while being PI, including the Übers :azn:
