Duriel Help

I am in the process of making a blizzard sorc. I have never used sorc before and am working on my own build for a blizard sorc. Anyhow i am up to Duriel and i can't figure out how to kill the bloody slug. I have an Act 2 lvl 14 defensive merc with me as well. Can anyone give me hints or tips on how to kill this dude so i can move on to act 3?!?!?!?:thumbsup:

Raise your sorc/merc to at least lvl20 (tombruns). Lvl14 is too weak to try Duriel solo.
Have your merc tank Duriel, meanwhile, static him and make a portal.
Go back to town to resurrect merc if needed... use glacial spike to finish Duriel... have your merc tank again, and repeat until Duri is dead.

Or call a friend for help.

level 14? wow just do as said before go level up till your 20-25... wich will be better for you anyways since you might need somemore gear that you can get along the way

Yeah, as they say leveling up a bit is the best option, as you will need the levels in Act 3 anyway. Normal Duriel has been always hard for my casters, with a sorc i usually find a staff having +Blaze and run around in the duriel's lair leaving fire on my way making her follow me. With a little patiance, you can easily kill her with that trick.

pretty much says it duriel is damn hard when u are that low a level try going back and get your levels up
u might want to find some gear with half freeze duration or fast hit recovery
i just keep at him no matter how many times i died eventually i killed him
+1 into static will help loads too

also u said u were building a blizzard sorc keep in mind that going 1 element can be tough when u find a cold resist monster

Just a little thing, but Duriel is a *guy.* He's known as the Prince of Pain. Not to sound annoying, but it bugs me sometimes.
