Hi, I played this for a few years before 1.11 (somewhere around there i know they were just talking about seasons) and I wanted to make a mf sorc to help my situation to come back to the game. (ladder of course) From reading through some of the posts on this board did nova get a huge nerf? i made all my sorcs frozen orb/nova and it did perfect. And i need help deciding what setup will be best for mfing. I want frozen orb but dont know about either fire (metorb) or lightning.

no untwinked sorc builds can kill the big 3 (andy//mephy//pindle) quicker than a pure blizzard sorc (imho anyway)

mine does great, my merc + static takes care of most ci's, and can do mephy/andy/pindle runs in about 5 minutes a piece

if you insist on an orb sorc, meteorb is the way to go, look at the guides for help on that

my vote is still for a pure blizzard sorc, took me about 4 days to get it to lvl 80 and started finding some good stuff in no time!

i would have to disagree in my opinion (opnon only) a pure fire sorc is the fastest pindle/eldritch shenk/andy runner Blizzards sorc does own meph hands down though. (no other class even comes close to blizzy on meph or firebaal on andy just pick who you want to run then build accordingly) also lightning is fun but pure lightning isnt as strong against act bosses without an infinity due to the min dam rolls ;in packs chain lightning does indeed own though. :)

I'll second the blizzard sorc recommendation. Mine rips through everything in no time. Wearing all gear* that I acquired with her myself, either MF or trades.

(*full Tal Rashas, Nagelrings, Lidless Wall, etc :D)
