Ok, after my last one ended up sucking badly, I'm after advice for making a bowazon that can actually do something in hell.

Really looking for full breakdown of gear and stats.

Making one up at moment without using any skill points as have encher and raven

Bowazons suck rather baddly unless you have a good bow.

check out my ladder strafezon guide in the mini guide library.

It can play untwinked and solo hell without too much trouble.

The better the bow, the faster you kill. I would advise getting at least a 130 gothic bow (fairly cheap due to it not needing ias) to perform in hell

Nothing in your mini guide library for strafezon

did find this thread >> http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?t=345013&highlight=strafe

Its dated but seems closest to what you mention.

Any feedback on how it worked?

Ah

Quick questions:

Know i've got an encher which can sort them out, but how to deal with phy immunes? mainly thinking of aracne/maggot in hell here.

How to get resists for HC? Was thinking of usings hotspurs but then no faster run. Maybe lose rattlecage in favour of goldskin (if i ever get one, not bloody likely). Struggling on how to max Fire/Light without silly rares (which if you hadnt guessed from the Gskin comment, not really an option  )

Switching between Twitch and Angelic armor at moment as needed (50% fire res from angelic armor can't be sniffed at in act 4, plus gives sweet mf and +1 all skills)

Was thinking reach str/dex reqs for gear then alternate dex/vita try and balance extra life with extra damage.

Howltusk really a necessity? know the knockback will help, but was thinking maybe face of horror for higher flee chance +res +nice boost to str, a long with bonus undead damage for CS.

Basically i'm just really poor and worried about dying

You could always make a dual-tree bowadin like Fredsta.
Using Lightning and Cold auras based upon immunes and the rogues bow.

goldskin
First problem.
Angelic armor
Second problem.
(50% fire res from angelic armor can't be sniffed at in act 4, plus gives sweet mf and +1 all skills)
Third problem. (you're using angelic rings+amu on a zon)
Howltusk
Fourth problem. Glad you're getting rid of it.
face of horror
Fifth problem.

Bowazons are fairly weak in 1.1, so you'll need a godly bow, and you shouldn't expect to solo. Hardly any chars can solo all the way through the game, and it's more fun to play in a party.

howltusk is NEEDED for knockback.

1 angelic ring + ammy is needed to kill fast

As i said, if its hc you shouldnt go with a glass cannon strafer, in fact, dont even use strafe at all in hc due to strafe lock

A good hc bowazon in my eyes

Full itharas
20 ias 130+ gothic bow
twitch
30 r/w resist boots
Ar//dex//leach//resist rings

~150 vita
rest to dex

Try and get 700 + life, max fire and light resist, r/w for mobility, and lots of ar

Same skills as in my guide, only use multi//guided instead of strafe. Multishot should be lvl ~9

@steve: My strafer guide is for a solo player

How much useful is a GA/Multi zon in CS? I s'pose her damage is improved by Concentration?

Multishot//guided kills faster than a strafe zon, assuming you can get the nessecary gear. A strafe zon using gothic bow only needs 20 ias to reach the last strafe breakpoint, therefore she can be played untwinked and you can get a nice damage bow w/ good damage fairly cheap if it has no ias.

Assuming you can afford 20 ias 175ed+ gothic, rune bow, or double bows, then you are better off using multi//guided. Actually the gothic only needs 10 ias for a multi//guided, but rune//double bow is better anyway.

In cs, it will be useful in cs, with the conc it will do decent damage, and with knockback it will slow the advance of monsters.

If you can get a amp necro, fantasicm pally + hammerdin you will wow people :D
