Very noob question, but I am makign a LLD char and found a LL unique with this mod on it - does this mean i have a 95%chance to hit in PvP (aside from block)?

Thanks

No.

AFAIK, ITD is ignored vs. other players.

Also, ITD does not give 95% chance to hit; it merely takes the defense out of the calculation. Not sure about the AR; Level differences still apply.

ITD is still a great thing to have for weapon-using characters in normal gameplay.

I thought ITD reduced the targets defence to 5%, the lowest it can be? Therefore, if theres a large enough difference in levels, you still wont be able to hit/hurt a monster, also there is still a 5% chance you wont hit?

You have to be aware of that there are three parts to the chance to hit formula:
1. AR/(AR+DR)
2. Attacker_lvl / (Attacker_lvl + Defender_lvl)
And a constant of 100 * 2.

With ITD the first step becomes AR/(AR+0), or AR/AR which is always 1. Because of that the chance to hit formula when using ITD is usually written as:
100 * 2 * Attacker_lvl / ( Attacker_lvl + Defender_lvl)

So AR does not matter anymore and the caps (5% lower, 95% upper) still apply.

ITD doesn't work against players btw.

Thanks, well - time to ditch this weapon as the only use i thought it had was for lld.

Slightly OT but I just wanted to praise the magic that is RTB. I was just about to start searching around for the formula on CTH or maybe make a thread about it if I couldn't find it. And then I mosey on into the stats forum and the first thread I click on has it. You rule RTB.
