so i found a Grand Matron Bow...with +3 bow/xbow skills....however it only has 2 open sockets. (its gray text not magical)

is there a way to add more sockets to try and put a fancy runeword in here or am i SOL?

No it is not possible to add sockets to an item that already has sockets.

Yes. Larzuk does that as a quest reward, and there are cube recipes to add sockets to white items.
