3% frw or 5% frw on sc ??

I'm confused.
I see sc with 5% frw in trading channels , in price guides but on Arreat Sum, on 2 affix calculator web sites, only the suffix "of inertia" with 3% frw is available.
LC can get 5% frw and GC 7% frw
Then my sc 3/14/3%frw could worth something

5% frw scs are from previous patches. From 1.10 on scs can only have 3%frw. That's mostly matters if you're playing on nonladder, on ladder you can only get 3% frw scs.

I believe 5%fr/w on a smallcharm is a pre 1.10 thingy, so legit only on NL. Or maybe even a pre 1.09 item.. I dunno, but I read that before some patch, small charms got up to 5%. Now it's 3%fr/w.

Are you sure they're from 1.09? I just check the 1.09 data files that I have and the only small charm affix with faster run/walk is inertia, 3%. I also checked the 1.08 and 1.07 data files, with the same results.

It was a bug in previous patches that prevented less than 5% FRW to occur on SCs, I found several "of inertia" small charms in 09 and they all had 5% FRW. This bug was fixed in .10.

Disclaimer: It is what I've heard about it though, so you can take it as a pinch of salt.

It's true, in 1.09 there was a lower cap on FR/W on items at 5%. Even though no items were affected, the cap also applied to IAS, FHR and FBR IIRC.

A 5% fhr is nothing special without a second mod. Useful, but not spectacular.

i have a few 5 f r/w charms on nl. i believe that 5 f r/w was possible on scs till 1.11 when they changed it. idc really since i usually toss these charms anyways unless they have nice mods. It got changed in 1.11 i'm pretty sure.
