ISO: Paladin Shield for "Exile"

I've been saving my Ohm and Vex rune for a long *** time now, and cubing runes to get an Ist. Ever since 1.10 came out I've been waiting for a good ethereal elite paladin shield to drop so I could put these bad boys in there. I've never found one thats good enough to warrant putting the runes in there. So here it is, what I seek:

A grey text ethereal Zakarum or Vortex shield with good mods, preferably resistances, but thats not required. It must either have 4 sockets or be unsocketed.

While this is the main thing I'm searching for, I'm looking for a couple more items if you'de like to make additional trades:

A high LL Carrion Wind
Metalgrid
Shadowdancer
Thundergod's Vigor
Spirit Ward
Wisp Projector

I have a pretty extensive list of items available, and I'm willing to part with them.

Have you upgraded all of your items to 1.11?

I'm still playing 1.10 (vanilla, but I'm tainted with RRM), and that SoJ interests me. I have T-God's Vigor (high %ED) and a spare ShadowDancers (unfortunately both of mine are +1 skills).

Also, I do recommend that you wait for the shield that you want and don't compromise, but if you get tired of the wait I have this available for free.

If I don't get any more offers in this thread I'd actually love to have that shield. I've just been looking for so long and I havn't found anything that would work. The worst was finding a superior 11% ed eth Zakarum shield with 2 sockets in it.

never. ever, ever, ever, even think in making an exile in a non eth shield. It'll be a waste of good (and rare) runes.
Aim for good resists too (40+) or good damage (60+) I'd go with resists.

Yeah I'm aiming for the resists in an eth shield, but I'm not against ed, as I have a couple shimmering charms to make up for what I'll lose from putting aside my HoZ.


So again, to reiterate, still looking for the shield, and there isn't much I'm not willing to trade for one.

3 shimmering GCs = 45 res all
3 Fine GCs = 21+ damage 150+ AR
the 21+ damage will be enhanced by the skills/str ed% gear (100+ damage from fanaticism alone!) so I think it's way better to look for a resist all shield. Unless you have those uber damaging weapons...

Cries. Well, so be it.

Here's the thing dude. Some runewords damn near require you to get the near perfect item to use. Two come to mind. One is Exile. The other is Chaos. Often, the hardest part about making the item is finding the (near) perfect claw/shield. Just ask Kab and Liq about their Chaos's, and everyone else here who has an Exile.
