This bugged boot was proved + tested to exist and PERMED on West NL with many CC mods. It was sold on cc for around 5 Wizzies (aprrox. 337.5 runes).

If you're going to flame me or post some random bs about it not real or how you've seen many such items open bnet (which I have too) and can ezily be created in editors (which I have done before for amusement), don't waste your calories typing since it did exist and still does.

fcr boots... me want... :shocked:

Dual Leech crafted ring lvl 86 (used caster recipe - lol!):

11% LL
5% ML
5 str

61 mana
MDR 1

11% LL comes from max mods on preffix and suffix life leech (8+3) :wave:

Apart from having the wrong mods for a caster ring, there is no leech prefix for rings. It's a blood ring :tongue:

I've ended up with some nice crafted caster belts and blood gloves, but here are a sweet pair of rare boots I happened across this season on East Ladder:

War boots-30% frw/10%fhr/3 dex/37% cr/26% lr/17% pr(req lvl 34)
"Imp Shank" boots-30% frw/10% fhr/30% edef/3dex/20% lr/19% pr(lvl 29)

I made the mistake of upgrading to the war boots for more defense, when the lvl 29 req would have been more important from a lld perspective; oh well. I think it's hilarious that I found a pair of genuine imp shanks though; not as good as the popular NL dupe ones, but still pretty nice.

Unfortunately, it was pretty early in ladder2... auctioned it off for about 3 weeks elsewhere and was able to get about 18 ists for it. If only I could craft something like that again, now that runes are worth so little!

But you can see why I saved the screenshot from that long ago! :)

That has got to be one of, if not the best items I've ever seen in Diablo II... I've always speculated with others about the possibility of Cruel/Master's/Mechanic's of Fast Repair/Quickness on an ethereal rare... but I never in my wildest dreams thought I'd see one! And with such incredible rolls! All in all: 439% of 450% Enhanced Damage from the combination of Master's and Cruel, 241 of 250 Attack Rating from Master's, and a perfect of Slaughter suffix. Absolutely unbelievable.

Nice axe. For fun's sake, I was wondering if anyone knows of a single-player item generator to check what I think would be a fun weapon...
eth Phase Blade (yes, i know... consider it upped from a crystal sword, K?) with Master's, Cruel, Fools, and then Quickness, Increased Min damage and either leech or Increased max damage. Slap on a socket from a quest for any other abilities... I just want to know what the damage would be.

I'd still pick the rare BA over any grief. Not everything is a matter of numbers. The damage may be lower but the style is 1000000000 times higher.

That PB was by electricblue, reportedly made on SP :shocked: also heard it was on West so I dunno.

Not really a rare but I found a Jeweler's Sacred Rondache of Deflect. 29%All Resist automod. :shocked:

I also have a legit crafted ammy from hrm a looong time ago. I don't remember EXACT mods for mana and all resist but it's something like this.

15%all resist
10%mana regen

Just waiting for fletch on US East NL to all poof and this thing will be worth loads. :shocked:

It's just the AR bonus that's really good. A shock/frost zealer tends to have low AR without fanaticism and little AR gears but with a phase like that problem would be solved.

Think of exile...not many rares have a defiance aura and a chance to cast lifetap.

That weapon is actually superior to eBotD GPA (for PvP). It hits 6/4/4/4/4 Fury with the 2 shael.

People like stoutwolf will probably (and literally) pay his arms and legs for it.

And edit: It's range 5.

I'm doubting it's legitimacy. The chance of getting Masters, Cruel, Mechanic quickness and Self Repair with an ethereal spawn is so so low.

In the current patch (but I think 1.08+ actually) I think a rare amulet can't go better than 35%. I suppose the amulet comes from before 1.08. I may have owned a 45ish mf rare amulet back in classic, but I really can't tell for sure. I'd say that a 47% mf cannot exist in Ladder.

Or have a too high Gamma. But it's pretty easy telling if it's a unique or a rare, mostly, since all rares have a 2 word name+weapon type, which are totally random, whereas uniques have always the same name and it can be 1 or more words+weapon type. Myself I used to use maximum Gamma to try if it could counter CoS, but it didn't and also there was no visible color difference between uniques and rares.

You can't put any runeword in any rare, and that's not why 2 sockets would be nice anyways. With zero sockets, like mine, you can only get a single socket from Larzuk, and thus only a single fire facet/ist/whatever.

In the Single Player forum, I play in a tournament where the characters are not allowed to invest any skill points. I play an assassin that has reached Canyon of the Magi in Hell. She uses Langer Briser as main weapon (mainly for the Knockback and Open Wounds) and has a claw with bonus to BoS and CoS on the weapon switch. She usually wears a 'Rhyme' shield together with that claw, but in areas with resurrecting monsters she dual wields claws, adding one with +3 to Death Sentry.

Anyway, the main damage is dealt by Sharyn, her fire rogue merc. Sharyn uses Guillaume´s Face, a 4s armor with an IAS Jewel and two big lightning damage jewels. Her bow is my Hell imbue and it looks like this:

Bone Loom
Great Bow
Two-Hand Damage: 31 to 138
Required Dexterity: 107
Required Strength: 121
Required Level: 51
Bow Class - Very Fast Attack Speed
Item Level: 83
+166% Enhanced Damage
+195 to Attack Rating

20% Increased Attack Speed
5% Chance to cast Level 1 Amplify Damage on striking

Not the biggest and baddest, but I think it´s got style and it gets the job done.

Nubi, bugged items drop ALL the time, just the crap ones dont get kept...

I personally have had a "The Humongous" Horadric staff drop, which got deleted during one of my 6 month "quits"...

I've also found found a unique dagger with Flesh Renders stats back in 1.09...

Don't believe me? I don't really care, it's happened and will continue to happen, and the occasional godly items will either get kept secret or will be sold to dupers...:rolleyes:

ya, it was my pride and joy. to get a bugged item you need the servers to have massive lag and then maybe once in a million drops, you'll get a bugged item. ive had some weird bugs as well, like low lvl req rares with uber stats. those were lost as well, including all my .08 items, ith items, occy rings (had a char full, i was stocking up on them)

stout- i know all about trading, but nowadays i dont have the patience to sift threw spam bots and deal with cattle.net people. i wish bnet never invented the up arrow as a control paste method. for all these reasons, i will never trade in channels again.

bleah. i went through all the screenies i collected, and i had a really bad habit of only capturing things that i knew i wasn't going to keep. all my really good stuff i muled and figured i would keep it forever. since then, i've let 3 generations of bnet chars expire. sigh. of what i can recall:

rare ring (or was it a craft? i remember talking about it on the trade boards when i had it, maybe my old post is still there.)

15% superior etheral honor thresher

many many many crafted gloves with 20 ias, +2 skills, leech, dual leech, stats, etc.

+2 necro, 18 fcr crafted ammy. had some stats on it too

several 10-11% LL crafted blood rings

many crafted belts with 10% fcr, stats, fhr, etc.

many crafted amulets with +2 skills, don't remember the details, but the necro ammy above was my best ever.

Iirc, some guy on USEast or USWest found such a thing recently too. Not sure at all though, but it sure was 1.10 or later, which could be proved by the items he was wearing, auras on non-pally etc.
