I have been making a fury druid. Max werewolf, lyconthropy, fury, Oakspirit, and rest in feral rage. I'm confused about what gear i should use. I play ladder Us East. I am realtively wealthy but not exorpintly so so any gear suggestions will be helpful.

you may have spent your points better by pumping dire wolf and 1 in grizzly for a 5k life bear, but as far as gear: jalals mane for your helm, smoke runeword for armor (fast hit recovery + resistance), any gloves with life leech, string of ears belt for damage reduction, and any boots with crushing blow. ideally you need a weapon with some elemental damage at least on switch for physical immunes, dont forget you can use bows like buriza while in your wereform for mele attacks.

Ik maul is a decent weapon for pvm. its cheap and has 2 sockets for jewels or runes

From my limited experience, you would not go wrong with draculs for gloves, verdungoes for belt, goreriders for boots, duress for armour, jalals mane for helm, a ravenfrost and shael shael tomb reaver. you can play around with the other ring(should have mana leech) and the amulet. Get a few +Ar max damge and life charms, and shapeshifting with faster hit recovery charms. Annihilus and hellfire torch are good for any build. With this build you would get lifetap, 4fpa for fury, 15% damage reduction, good resistance, crushing blow, deadly strike, decent amount of +skill, fast hit recovery, respectable defence and ultimately an enjoyable werewolf experience. :)

I, too, have a delimma.

My fury set up is pretty decent with:

Draculs
Jalals with shael
Gorerider
Highlords
Raven and dual leech ring
Perfect String of ears
Tombreaver with shael shael, 38 ED jewel
Dusk Fortitude

I use HoW and Act 2 nm merc to maximize my damage and I do excellent dmg on paper (I think I do about 9k dmg not including the DS). However, I noticed that my killing speed is slower when compared to my zealot. Is this because I don't have enough crushing blow? My fury druid attacks super fast and he hits often, but still its killing speed is slower. I've been wondering/thinking of making a duress and start using that instead of the fortitude. Do you guys recommend that?

the poormans setup:

snap (preferably shaelled)
dury shell
bloodfists are nice
rockstopper
res belt with life (shopped, +30 lr and +100 life is very nice)
goblin toe
res all ammy
mana leech ring+ ar
life leech ring +ar

Enough str for gear, rest into vit. no dex or energy.

basically the CB will do the wounding, and the physical damage will do the killing. You can up the snap once for a nice damage boost, but really, the CB will do the trick. slap on a hf merc with something like crescent moon and you're set to go.

yup, crushing blow will damage their life down to a certain amount when cb doesnt work effectively anymore, thats when the phyiscal damage counts!

What's an ideal Fury Druid skill point allocation?

Mercyfulfate,

the old guides are still pertinent to this patch. Nothing really changed in terms of skills. You can look it up in the guides here with no problems.

My question:

What would be ideal high gear set up for fury druid? I need something with crushing blow, as I have asked in my previous post. Fort or duress? G-face or jalals? I'm talking about claw ripping, fast killing machine!

When I do p v m with any melee build. I get a good weapon formost. Then I get duel leech, alot of resists at least 60% in all in hell, and good enuff ar.

Im assuming your tombreaver is non eth because you didnt socket a zod, instead of 2 shael try 3 40ed 15 ias, same speed and loads more dmg.
