OIAS and WIAS

OIAS = Non-weapon IAS, such as IAS in your gloves and your Cat's-Eye, etc., but NOT that 60% IAS on your weapon!

WIAS = That 60% IAS on your weapon... and that's it!


So... for Druids erm- once you get enough skills in Werewolf (say... 25?) it won't matter how much OIAS I use? All that will matter will be WIAS?

You mean like, I've been using my Highlord's and my Laying of the Hand gloves... for nothing? O_O I took them both off and I began attacking at the same speed as if I had them on lol! So is this true?

Yes it is true. There are other ressons to use highlords and laying of hands tho. Like for say the plus 1 to skills, deadly strike, and lighting resists. Laying of hands all you really got going with that is the p v m factor 350% ed to demons.

Is it an extra 350% of my BASE weapon damage or what?

If it's not that much that I really wanted to trade for some Dracul's.

The Highlord's is good, but Metalgrid is better. :p My AR kinda sucks, and I've got too many resist GCs for my taste in my inventory. :p 1 skill point won't be missed, but I guess the Deadly Strike factor is arguable.

Ever thought about using anglic's 2 rings and a amulet? Thats what I use. Gives you alot of life and alot of attack ratting. One of my rules of thumb is to work with what the build is great for. Werewolfs get alot of attack ratting, life, damage, and run/walk. They truely are glass cannons, so I don't worry about def, but when I really need to I worry about resist all.

When I start making a werewolf vs werewolf I will use highlords with 2 high dex, and high attack ratting ravenfrosts.

The only time I like using laying of hands is with the full set. That combo is great for cheap ladder items for p v m only. Next to max resists in hell, 3 to all skills, 20 str, and 10 dex. Those only great things about that set. To top it off I only paid less then 20 p gems for the full set. I do have to haggle over the amulet and belt. But after a wile they relize that I am the only person out there that really wants the full set. Then they see it my way. As in "Give it to me cheap, you stingie B(%?* !"

gloves, if you dotn need fire resists ad demon bashing, bloodfist/ magnus's skin or w/e are also really nice

Ya bloodfists for all most every thing but the 10% ias.
skin is great for the ar.
