View Full Version : Thorns from Bramble/Edge

Seems that some of the auras from runewords stack while others override. What's the take on this particular combo? For argument's sake pretend they arent both at lvl 15 but rather tha bramble is at slvl20 or so.

And while you're at it, can anyone point me to the effect of "SLVL50 delirium" on the delirium helm? I'm sure it has been asked before but I cant find any info on it.

Since both Bramble and Edge are runewords granting the same aura, the thorns aura will stack. This means that if you had a level 20 thorns aura from Bramble, and a level 15 thorns aura from Edge, you're character would have a level 35 Thorns aura.

The "1% chance to cast Delerium when struck" on the Delerium runeword helm basically just transforms you into a Undead Stygian Doll for about a minute. If I remember correctly, you can't use any skills except for normal attack (and possibly armageddon?)


Edit: I should note that in order for the Bramble and Edge thorn auras to stack, the same character must be wearing both items.

And u can transform back to human form with werewolf or werebear (i've done this, and i can make it on a video if needed)

It's slvl 50 because it's teh godly leet, yo!

I think they just wanted everyone to think that somehow, this skill activating meant that they were special, and that they were getting an amazingly powerful skill, albeit at a very low chance... when all that happens is your body shrinks to 1/3 it's size, your head stays the same size, and you get a big freakin' knife.

Now as for the runes, what if edge is on the merc and bramble is on me? would they stack? I'll assume if they're both on the merc they will stack.

No they wouldn't. Only the higher level thorns aura would be in use. Spirit of the barbs + thorns would stack though, if you wanted to go that route.

If they're both on the merc, then it would stack.

Too bad u dont explode on death like a real doll would. That would add a new dimension to pvp :).
