pvp bowazons are good

Pvp javazons are good (check out mini guide for gear, skills, and how to farcast)

Pure melee pvp jabbers own

Poison javazons can be great, but at the same time, the hardest to use

You build what you want to build

Out of those options the most fun (imo) is the jabber

If you dont have a good bow, then forget about the bowazon

Psn zons are boring imo

PvP charged strike zons are the most effective zons against most opponents. A good ww barb will kill a cs zon unless the zon runs + farcast

If you want to hold your own in hell bvb games and make some friends... go with the jabber

Yeah, thanks, I guess I will go with the jabber. Is there already a guide that you have written for it? O, and I saw your build for the Titan Barb. It looks extremely fun, from your experience is it pretty fun? Wouldn't this build have trouble staying alive, because of really low health.

Ahh yes, the titan barb.

A mix of vita and strength is better, just to be on the safe side, but titans are fun :)

No it didnt have trouble staying alive... as long as it could keep wwing//play smart


It raped though :) Oh, and you can still get close to 2k life w/ bo

There really arent alternatives to the gear, this is the best. Of course, you will be a pure melee pvper so joining bvb games is where you duel

20 jab
16 crit strike
20 penetrate
Few to D/E/A

all to vita

Here's a few bowazon tips for 1.1:

-Dex is important. You shouldn't rely on life to tank hits, you should be able to kill faster. With a 150+ Gothic Bow and 300+dex, you'll hit hard and will be able to compete if you are skilled
-Clegs gloves are necessary most of the time. Vital to dueling barbs, and also a good way to slow dins to hurt their clag abilities
-Bowazons need to duel dirty, being willing to sit on a TP, jump to town, and shoot from afar and run from potential threats. The guerilla warfare of D2

What should be the skills distribution for Bowa, it's probably the char I hae less knowledge. I figure you should have max GA and Critical Strike, around 20 in D/A/E. What to do with the rest? I thought about 10 Multi/10 Penetrate to help level, is that enough, or should I go Strafe? I think Multi can have some uses in PvP as well?

max block + 60% dodge + 5 attacks per second + physical damage + open wounds + crushing blow + uninteruptable attack + huge life (1.5k+ w/ melee gear and 98 base dex)

fred, I don't understand where the damage for a jabber comes from. The amazon does not have any skills that provide more damage, no synergies nothing. It seems as though all the skills(and gear) is for attack rating. I understand that attack rating and block is very important for dueling, I just don't understand how one is supposed to kill without damage, but only AR.

Right now I do about 4-17 dmage with a pilum, and with the shopped harpoon that you suggested I guess that I would probably do about 20-60 damage? I just don't see how such low damage can kill characters (such as barbs) with 4k+health. Please answer.

with a shopped harpoon your looking at like 500 jab dmg iirc

Crit strike = double damage
jab provides ed

jab is VERY fast, and with crushing blow + open wounds it gets the job done

wait, 500 jab damage? On my screen it says 30-107. Is there some aura or something i'm forgetting to turn on?
