Hi, I am a werewolf using a tomb reaver with 2 sockets. Ill like to know whats the best runes to socket into it. I have max werewolf fury and feral rage. Do shaels help to achieve higher breakpoints? Any help is appreciated. Oh and on a side note, Im thinking of starting a werebear for pvm. Is a mauler or a fire claw werebear better in pvm? I would have reasonble items for him.

I cant tell you what to socket into the tomb reaver but I can tell you that a Mauler is pretty sick in Pvm.
I would put 2 shaels in it , they will make a big increase in its attack speed with fury.
cheap: sheals
decent: ed/ias
expensive: legit 40/15 (this would be a waste though)
maul at shaper druid? i presume Thundermaul
tmaul has standard with fury (without ias and 1 point in werewolf): 17 fpa (frames per attack)
cryptic axe has standard with fury (non unique without ias and 1 point in werewolf: 13 fpa (frames per attack)
CA can get 8 fpa attack while Tmaul can max have 10 fpa
difference = 4 fpa
difference:
cryptic: 33 to 150 (91.5 Avg)
Thundermaul: 33 to 180 (106.5 Avg
difference is huge ca will easy slaughter tmaul and the difference = 15 avg dmg for 2 bp less?
I think i would socket it with 2 shaels to reach 4fpa for fury. Anyway I think that the second poster meant a werebear with maul as main attack skill rather than a mace maul. Anyway thanks for all of your help. :xmas10:
Two shaels and dont look further
2 shaels is enough to mow down all act 1 -3 hell easily
