trading gull for decent bh help

I play uswest ladder and I have quite a full gulls/gskin/silks sitting on mules waiting to be traded for GG items so I can start getting into dueling. I am not certain on what these highly sought uniques go for in terms of rares. I'm looking for a decent bh for my barb, but am not sure on the dmg 1 or 2 gulls is worth. My encounters with traders are quite disgusting. I've had some people offer 96bh's for 1 gull..... that is hardly worth it. I'm really tired of all the players who are greedy and just want so much for just 1 item. Luckily I traded a gs for a +1barb priz cold dmg ammy, but the majority of people are just blech!~

So my main question is... I'm looking to trade a gull or two for a bh with decent dmg for my barb, but I would like some help on how high the bh dmg is worth for a gull or 2.

96 damage is terrible. You could easily purchase a better BH from Hratli in hell.

I'd say the value greatly depends on the person with the BH, as many people will just sell a <130 BH, but some will try to trade one with 90 damage for an SOJ. I'd say 2 gulls could probably get you a decent 130-140 BH.

are US WEST prices for bh wicked high or something? Because in US east a 100 rare bh with +1 skills is not even worth keeping. 150 BH barely gets you a soj.

Well unfortunately the people on west are stingy so I ended up with a 131 bh for a gull + pchancies + shard. It wasn't like I really needed them but still :( Thanks for the advice though. It's really hard to find a decent trader.
