My V/T Armor Problem

Ok, so a while ago i really wanted to make a v/t pala and i got fairly good dmg and everything, but when i used enigma/coh i was laughed at and proptly own'd by better v/t's who would use bugged tal armors. I can see an advantage to using them but i hate duped items and i want to be able to beat them down with the very items that they see as unfit or noobish on a v/t (since all of them think that a bugged tal is the only way to be godly). Now it maybe that i just built him wrong or that my gear just wasnt wut it should have been, but im positive theres a way to defeat this dupe newbs and their 'precious' bugged tal. Help me out here?

i've just talked to some duelers about this and its not about items that win, its about skill and how to use it against differ classes.
getting told that enigma > btals for dueling those ppl.
dont give ur hopes up when u meet ppl who say this sort of stuff.

If you're going head to head with them just use a old school shaftstop. 30%DR +60life.

I'll still take enigma over btals for my T/V.

enigma is only good if you have some fcr, otherwise, i find it useless

coh is good if you can master the skill of charge-foh-charge-foh, i've used this for quite a while

i have also seen an XXXXX armor of the whale with 4x 5/5 die lights in't, kid with it was ez though, didn't know what he was doing at all, so i didn't get a good look at how affective the armor really was...

anyways, i find for a v/t, skill > gear (but gear helps)

if you can master the charge skill, i find it to be the best

You just gotta know that if they're using btals, it means they're also using quite a few lifers.

@StewieGriff_XLT:Why would you need fcr if you're using enigma? You can use charge to move around even if you have enigma, and you have more frw so it's easier to desynch.
