View Full Version : death bezerker axe : is eth necessary ?

Hi,

I found a VEX in sanctuary, hoping to get a GUL as soon as possible to make a Death ba

I got a 5os bezerker axe, but its not ethereal. It doesnt seem a big problem to me, because i suppose the only difference will be little bit lower dmg, but i'd like to be sure.

well the only difference would be lower damage and an eth one has less requirements. But a non eth one would be a lot harder to trade. If i where u i would hang on to those runes until u find a eth one

It's not a "little bit lower dmg" by any means, it's actually quite a bit lower damage. A non-eth 'Death' zerker can only get about 344 max dmg; an eth 'Death' zerker can get about 516 max dmg... pretty significant if you ask me.

Second that, wait until you can grab an eth 5os zerker. doubt you will ever trade a non eth one for anything even close to what you put in it.

How much are 5s eth zerkers? Are they worth more than the runes that you put in it? I've been trying to get one forever.

They are worth a decent chunk since they're hard to find.

If you find an ethereal ettin axe, it will get 5 sockets from Larzuk.

It's 50% more damage......, which is A LOT. I would prefer anything eth over a non-eth zerker.

Arg i found a 3 soc eth. :(. O well. Anyways, I wanna know the opinion of people who own an edeath zerker. Is it worth it??? I already have a 398 grief and it does fine in pvp and pvm. I just want death b/c
a) I need something new to make all the time. LOL
b) 50 crushing blow
c) It will be worth a lot later on since it is ladder only
d) Eth wep thats indestructible. Awww tite!!

eath is good only for pvm ,and therefore you can go with the cheaper ath ettin axe.It does just fine and i actually use several of them on my chars.

So you think an eth ettin axe would be much better than a non eth bezerker axe ?
