about circlets

ive heard alot about these +3 20 fcr 2 sock circlets and was wondering are they using the socketing quest for getting the sockets or do they spawn allready.. are these circlets rare items or are they just magic items?

They're using the socket quest. A magic item has a 50/50 chance of getting 1 or 2 sockets, and they try and get 2.

No, any larzuk quest will do it. However, I believe the same ilvl rules apply. By this I mean that any circlet with an ilvl less than 25 will only get a max of 1 socket.

Also, only magic circlets (of level 25 or higher, usually not a concern) will have a chance at two sockets. Rares will only ever get one unless they naturally spawn with more.

You could get a rare circlet with +2 tree (or even class) skills, 20% fcr and 2 inherent sockets, and then one more prefix and two more suffixes on top of that. Hard to get, but possible.
