Meet Mr. Druidus, a "Rainbow" Druid, my 6th Pat (no Mats) in 1.10 and 2nd druid. It was the first druid that I ever started way before my SPF times and I had to try everything; wait until you see the skill placement... :D

Surprisingly easy to Pat though, with upped Ribby (+275%) and a big Grizzly everything except the physical immunes weren't too much of a problem. Even Hell ancients fell with 2 re-rolls and one big purple potion. This only goes to show that you really don't have to have a perfect build to finish the game.
Best find would be a Pul from one of the icy caverns in A5 Hell. Can't remember what HF gave, this character has been sitting and waiting for retirement for a looooong time.

Congrats on the pat :xmas30:

As you said, it goes to prove that you don't have to have a perfect build to beat the game :xmas9:

No, it wasn't random. I just wanted to try most of the skills and changed the "build" a few times. Let's call the build a Jack of all trades, master of none!

Yes, I understand. When I was starting to play this game, I had several "screwed" characters too. You just have to try several skills and see how they work.
My "screwed noob characters" made their retirement around lvl 30-50, bringing such a character to pat/mat status deserves THUMBSUP    .

Maybe this is the perfect Druid Build ? Suggest it to Logger120, who was looking for an unusual Druid build !

Great job to beat the game with this char - don' you always love the old ones ?

(Makes me think about rebuilding my first Party-Pally for Lan, he was a hell to play solo and only got the Ancients killed with the team, no matter how often I tried. Max: Concentration, Conviction, FOH, other Skills: 5 Zeal, 10 HShield, 10 HolyBolt, rest in Salvation. He was surprisingly OK to play as support Character, but alone he suckzzored !)

QFT

My first characters had skill distribution like that and I found it tough to progress very far into NM even. And that was back in the 1.09 days!

Congratulations!

Well done!

your skills look quite similar to my very first 1.10 char (werebear...) who is sitting at the beginning of A2 hell for quite a long time now. Those lighning bugs are a pain for him. He does good damage but dies evenly fast, hehe. I thought bonehew + draculs would fix him, but still he's very difficult to play.

Thanks for the comments guys! It's fun to read about all those wacky first builds (or try-to-be-builds) that people have had.

I like to finish all the characters that I start, even if I mess them up completely like this one. It was a real challenge to get to lvl 75 by running NM Baal and through end-A1 in Hell, after that it was much easier (got Ribby & Smoke).

@Cormallon, Don't give up, you can do it! :) Well, if I could, anyone can...

Congrats on your Pat! At least you were able to beat Hell diff even though there are a couple points in each skill. The first character I tried was a sorc with a couple points in each skill. I got as far as Hell Tristram before I remade her. Congrats again!
