I wasn't really sure whether this should go here or the trade values forum, but I'll post it here anyway. Some mod can move it if it's out of place :)

The most valuable item that I have FT is a 26res/1.375 life per clvl dusk fort (1475 def). What I would like to know is what will I be able to get for this, and what I should try to get to improve my Javazon. She doesn't really have any exceptionally good items at this point, this is what she uses right now:

Weapon: 189/9 Titans (non-eth, non-upped)
Armor: 34res Viper (upped, Umed to 49res)
Shield: Moser's non-upped (2x P Diamond)
Helm: Crappy rare circlet w/ embarrassing stats
Gloves: Laying of Hands
Boots: Nats, may switch to Waterwalks
Belt: Razortail
Rings: Raven 16dex + 5% Manald
Ammy: 6% mana leech and nothing else :thanks:
13/18/5 anni
17/17 necro (use it for the other stuff) torch that she can't use yet

Current clvl: 72

So basically, what areas would be best to improve considering what I have currently and what I can possibly trade the fort (and possibly the necro torch) for in order to fill in the holes?

doing pure lightning javazon or also on psn?

It seems to me that you can get more + skill in your armor, gloves, helm and belt. You may consider trading your forti for a COH. Lancer gloves (blue) with mods 20ias or ml is probably the best for javazon. Try getting a shako and T-god as well, though Razortail is actually good enough.

gorash: Should've clarified. It is a pure lightning javazon.

windwingwind: I thought of trying to get a COH for awhile. However, I figured that getting 1 more +skill and some better resists wouldn't really be worth it at this point if I could instead get a crapload of +java gcs or something like that. It is probably a good idea though, since then I can trade the viper since it should be worth something good (1 res from perfect). As for the shako, I'm one of those people that think zons should only wear circlets, and I can be incredibly stubborn and hard to deal with b/c of that. Shako is an amazing helm, but I have to see that hair flowing :D

And the razortail is so I can get away with only a few pts in pierce. Would it be better to use those saved pts in synergies, or ditch the razortail for tgods and pump pierce? Which will have a bigger impact on my damage?

if pure lightning then i prefer razortail for pvm and tgods for pvp.

weapon - try for eth up'd titans (+4 any ed tstrokes for pvp)
armor - i like coh, enigma if u want to tele around for fun
shield - 20/-20 monarch (4x 5/5 lite facets if possible to maximize the lightning dmg)
helm - circlet with +2 zon, frw, stats, resists, etc
gloves - crafted gloves with +2 jav, ll, etc
boots - eth treks

I will let this stay here since it is directly related to how you may be able to build a Javazon.

If it was a general FT list or ISO list, or price check, I would move it.

pierce has diminishing returns as pts increase. at skill level 12 you have 75% chance to pierce, which IMHO is not much different in killing speed than 100% were you to use Razor. Most of the time I put 1-5 hard points (depending on gear) into it and let my +skills do the rest.

Tgods helps to boost your dmg by adding to LF while it also absorbs some lite dmg.

Nobody mentioned griffon for a helm. If you are looking for damage its hard to beat. If that is out of your range then I've always had good success with Andys Visage. +2 skills, 25-30 str, ias. Only bad thing is the -30 fire res. Then again, a good zon circlet would have many of the same stats.

If you really want to go all out, slapping an infinity on your merc is just sick.

By the way, where do you mostly run? That will somewhat dictate the optimal gear due to the different monsters/dangers.

Right now she isn't running anything except for NM Baal, she is only lvl 72 right now. I'm probably gonna use her for key/cow running, maybe some MF runs too (I have no experience with javazons and MFing really, which runs are they most effective at doing?)

I have that dusk fort FT, and I'm not sure whether I should trade it for one really rare item or for a lot of more common items. I would love to get an Infinity, but I would be really suprised if my armor could buy one (ditto with the griffs). BTW I play East SCL.

Any place with a lot of monsters and few lightning immunes. Cows are a good target.

arcane sanc hell also has no lightning immunes (except the harmless spires) if you want to do hate key running
