View Full Version : Need an honest answer! About Faith.

I am having a hard time deciding if I should make a Faith Bow for myself, or for a Rogue merc. I have read that an Amazon with Windforce + Rogue with Faith Bow is a good combo (probably the best). Sure that on paper looks great, but please answer:

1. Does the Rogue really survives easily?
2. Is it any easy to stay in the Fanaticism Aura's range? The range is quite small and I take it I should stay close to the Rogue all the time to benefit from the Aura.

Depending on the answers I get, I'd go ahead and make a Faith for my zon herself, and just get a Might Act 2 merc...

Making a Faith will drain all my stash, so I cannot make one for the Rogue (on a non-Amazon bow), and another for my Amazon, just to try it out... I can't afford Fortitude/Pride, and other high end stuff if I get the Faith.

Thanks.

I would recomend you use the Faith yourself.

1. rogues have a tendency to pose, a lot. she'll survive "fine" in pvm, although sometimes you'll grind your teeth.

2. mercs teleport to your new position once they are out of range. however this can lend them in trouble and get them killed. and yes, you will have to stick close to them, for their own safety and yours.

Lastly, it's great to have another tank besides your valk.

Just Faith and merc with might won't cut it. You'll need Fortitude as well. At least if you want to play in 8 players games solo.

Not really. I would guess that it all depends on where you play. If you plan to solo WSK, then yes, you might want more dmg, but everywhere else, you can do without fort. Yes, a fort will help you in the dmg department, but I would recommend you get to 8fpa or as I did, 7fpa. I did not use a fort but instead relied on a 35ias twitch, razor for max pierce, laying of hands, and atma's scarab for the amp, which i can do without, but it's usefull.
