You have another thread asking for the same advice, it's called "Strong Barbarian", read here http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?t=413509&page=3&pp=10
The SPF (Single Player Forum) reads every posts made, so, there's no point to post another thread asking the same advice you already did. If you want to make yourself notice, just repost to that thread, asking again (spamming yes, but's it's a little bit "better" that having lots of threads). Even then, sooner or later someone will make an answer to your questions. So, please, do not spam the SPF, we love it as it is: dupes/hacks/editors/creators free and spamless (is that a word?).
To answer your question to this thread: ALL classes can survive hell and kill most monsters that they fight with. It's just a matter of taste how getting your favourite class and then make a build about it. Keep in mind that every monster in hell have a immunity of some sort, so, sooner or later you will a monster that is immune to the type(s) of damage you deal (physical, lightning, cold, fire, poison or magical), and most probably there's no other option than running or "parking" the monster. So, making the "ultimate" or "uber" char that can kill absolutely everything is pretty much pointless because of immunities; sooner or later you will find a monster immune to you.
You like pallies best? go for it. Druids, go ahead. Barbs? (THE best class :D ) suit yourself. As posted in the thread, READ the FAQ's, grab yourself your favourite class, go for a build, leave editors, creators aside, and start using the most powerfull tools of the players of the SPF: carefull planing, skill distribution and smart playing. There's no crowd or prime evil that can beat a char fully equipped with those weapons.
Once you have gone for a class, then a build, then carefull planing, then we can give you advices about it and start helping you to create a very powerfull char. Against b.net, here we don't have/like the 1337 chars and itamz.

this is what i aim for:
20 Mace Mastery
20 Concentrate
20 Berserk
5 Natural Resistant
5 Iron Skin
5 Increased Speed
the rest goes to war cries.
Please, don't insert more than one point into Increased speed or I will cry. And max BO, it's important.

then i guess i put one in Increased Speed. hehe, I think that is a good character build. Right Hrus?

I would go with something like this:
20WW
20Mace Mastery
20BO
----
1-5 nat resists, 1 Iron Skin, 0-1Inc speed
Then choose what is important for you. I would personally skip Concentrate and invest into Shout. Shout is a synergy for Berserk which IMHO is a better alternative than Concentrate, because it deals magic damage and it's good for killing physical immune monsters.
Shout is better than Iron skin, because it is beneficient to you, your merc and possibly all the party. And you can prebuff it.
If I have the exactly same skill point allocation as in the WW guide, I wouldn't be surprised :)

Just put one point in berzerk and zerk away when your IM'ed.
Or you can just cast a TP and be healed and go back to the fray again! Only to be casted with an IM again! (Rinse and repeat)

Fire arrows at them with a bow? (Any ranged weapon will do.)
