Newbie question coming up here. Can someone quickly describe how u talk with other players that are online, but not in the game u are currently in. How to whipser and stuff like that. Something about account names that im not aware of as well. I imagine that it is possible to see if some of my friends are online as well, a friends list or somthing like that. If there already exists a guide for this, please post a link.
I have actually been playing this game for a little while now, and its a little imbarrasing that i can't reply to people that whisper to me..
Much appriciated, Zionel.

To whisper to somebody type /w *accountname or /w charactorname
If you have their account name, you can add them to your friends list by typing /f a "accountname"
To message people on your friends list, type /f m "message"
Hope that somewhat helps you.
Thanks, that help a lot. Been playing around with the commands now that u opened the door for me. One more question tho; Is it possible to be alerted whenever a person on the friends list logs on?

Yes, but only if the other person has added you to their friends list as well. If you both have each other on your friends list, then whenever one of you logs on, the other will receive a "Your friend dsfjkfjskl has entered Battle.net." message. You'll also receive alerts whenever your friend enters a game or logs off B.Net.

Since Mattowander already said what you needed to know, I'm just going to give you some advice about it-
It is MUCH better to message individual people rather than everyone on your friends list (unless its a message you need everyone to hear). It can be quite annoying to have somebody constantly spamming their conversation to somebody else at the top of your screen.
