What bow for low lvl (1-42) bowazon?

Well as in topic really..

I'm planning to use a WF later on and I got a Lycanders ready for lvl 42. But till I get to lvl 42 I would also like a bow. Are there any good unique/set low lvl bows available?

Dunno about you but I usually use Arctic set bow at really low lvls, then upgrade to either Skystrike or Kuko, whichever I have stashed at that time :P.

There are so many good low level bows that it's easier to pick out the bad ones rather than the good. I don't like the Stormstrike and all low level xbows just suck. In addition to the ones already mentioned, the Riphook is an exellent bow.

Witherstring till you can equip Artic Set
Artic set should last you till lvl 20, but I stop at lvl 15.
At lvl 15, Ravenclaw, 16 equip twitch.
At lvl 18, I put on my +36max crown.
At lvl 20, I change out Raven for Rogue's bow with +14 Max. Dual Manald's keep my mana return relatively high, especially with the +maxers.
At 30, i change over to up'd Rogues.
At 39 I use witchwild/Harmony.
At 42, lwws/harmony/lyc/buriza/etc. till lvl 65 Faith or whenever you need WF.

I have a better solution that works for many builds

3x envy jewel breast plate

60 poison damage over 2 seconds makes act 1 a joke, that takes you to
10-12 easily

Does well in most of act2 as well

Put on a 3x wrath or 3x ire or 3x envy jewel mask for added twinkage

at ~ 20-21 try to get a razor bow with damage/poison jewels and that should take you to 29-30 when you can equip skystrike

it's all about the jewels, pick them up!

I agree with the envy jewels idea. They are amazingly eazy to find and when you have 3x in a mask and 3x in an armor, you just have to hit monsters once. it's fire and forget and win.

They are amazingly eazy to find and when you have 3x in a mask and 3x in an armor, you just have to hit monsters once. it's fire and forget and win.I have to agree but IMO that's juts too much twinkage for a couple of lvls that will probably be partly made with trist/cow runs and some questing anyways (in a team). After that it's just baalrun taxi all the way up to 42 when the important wpn upgrade becomes available (lyca).
