Upping Magefist

I just traded in my Frostburns (48def) for Magefist (24def) on my Hammerdin for the FCR. I know it's silly, but I am a little bent about the loss of a few points defense.

Any reason I shouldn't "up" my Magefist to Battle Gauntlets with base 39-47 defense? I'll still get +20-30% defense over base, and the +10 def, right? I can handle the new strength requirement on the Battle Gauntlets, so no worries there.

I've never upped anything before, just Tal/Shael/PDiamond/Gloves in cube should do it I think.

As far as I know, there shouldn't be a reason not to up them. The benefit won't be huge but I say go for it....

He said he has str covered......, not necessary lvl. I found this out the hard way when I upped my WWS. Luckily, I still have a harmony blade bow to use.

if you play a character that has a skill that benefits from additional defense then go for it - upping them seems just reasonable, you never know when that extra defense saves your life...

besides, if you have the strength and level required why not just go for it :xmas30:
