hi! relatively new to the game and still trying to figure things out. what is a "Stone of Jordan" that i read about sometimse in battle.net cube recipes. I have a level 85 character in hell that has never seen any item called Stone of Jordan, and cant find a picture of it or anything anywhere.
also this level 85 character is stuck now in Hell, can't kill the ancients, because with one hit they kill him, tho he has more than 2000 life. Is this the so-called "FE Bug." i read a bit about it but couldnt understand it because i dont know wtf anything stands for, like FE. :) can someone help me out here?
All the best thanks

This is the stone of jordan:

The Stone of Jordan CD2 Rarity: 32.3/1000
D2X Rarity: 18.9/1000
Item level: 39
Clvl req: 29 +20 Mana
+25% Mana
+1-12 Lightning Damage
+1 to All Skills

Never found one myself. Still trying.

Sorry, but I have no idea about the FE bug. What do you have for a character, and do you use a merc?

FE=Fire Enchanted

It means 2 things:
a) They die, explode do lots of damage. I believe normal, but if it is ancients, it will kill you in 1 hit. If 1 of the ancients if fire enchanted, kill him last.
b) The sometimes somehow does lot of damage even if they are still alive, as if their attack carries the explosion. I had a 800+ hp zealot die to a FE/LE council by a single bolt. That is definitely NOT normal.

FE damage is proportional to life of the monster, that's why it is so dangerous on monsters like Ancients or Lister. On top of that Ancients often flash that damage on the character if the character gets to the area of FE explosion effect.
In 1.10 SP FE damage from Acnient could kill any character. In 1.11 the FE bug was "removed" (but it was reduced, so high HP monsters could be allways dangerous). When you try to kill Ancients, forst check their properties and if some of them is FE, reroll them using town portal.

thanx for akll the replies/ I have a wind druid that is so awesome and can kill just about anything (except the occasional monster that is immune to both cold and physical. ) I also have a merc all the way back from Normal Act I, but she is also great and rarely dies.
i tried this with the town portal, but i am not sure how to tell if an ancient is FE. does it say they are immune to fire? looknig for that, i went back and forth from town to the summit many times but there was always one immune to fire. always the one on the far left/ i didnt check the other two, because i can die so easily that i just get out of there.

If more than 1 of their random properties says fire enchanted, TP to reroll. If there is only one, stick on, and kill him last. If you get away in time, fine. If you die after he dies, you still get quest. :xmas17: Do not try this at Hard Core.
