View Full Version : right and left hand barb weapon question
I heard your attack speed is only decided by your right hand weapon (above your gloves), so your left hand can use a slow high damage weapon.
is this true? and how about attack range?
also are CB and others stackable? thanks.

yes that is true, the "off hand" does not rely on attack speed while the "main hand" does
weapon CB/DS/OW only apply to a hit from that particular weapon
non-weapon CB/DS/OW can apply to hits from both weapons
CB stacks linearly, so two sources of 15% CB will result in 30% overall CB
DS and CS can stack
CS is checked first, IF it fails then DS is checked
(chance of CS triggering) + (chance of CS NOT triggering)*(chance of DS triggering) = overall chance of double physical damage

1. But if the off-hand weapon is slower, it doesn't get as many hitchecks as the faster one.
2. u should've put that like:
chance of CS triggering + ((chance of CS NOT triggering)*(chance of DS triggering))
As that's the way it goes, otherwise someone could get confused and just calculated it like (chance of CS triggering + chance of CS not triggering) * (chance of DS triggering), which would end up as 1 * (chance of DS triggering), which would be false, as it would only count the DS. This confused me for a second.
