I can't find a calculator that calculates javelin jab speed when a javelin has a speed mod and a javelin that does not.

I want to figure out if a rare ceremonial jav with 40ias coupled with 20 ias from gloves and 45ias from treachery is significantly faster than a titans.

I am ignoring all other mods from both javs.

can anyone calculate for me?

Too lazy to calc it myself :teeth:

does that include ias from off weapon stuff like gloves and armor ?

I think OIAS isnt as effective as weapon ias

That only matters for skills such as Whirlwind and wereform attacks.

ActionFrame is the frame of the animation in which a hit check is made. As you can see there are three hits in one Jab animation for the Amazon.

since titans doesn't have ias, a javazon using it with fort, ss, non-ias helm, tgods, dracs, and gores won't have any ias at all. that's a zon with godly stuff.

I plan to use titans, treachery, and a 20ias cb crafted glove with 2 jav skills 3 ll.

treachery gives 45% ias i think. I got 65% ias total, will I hit 5 fpas?

Yes, and the hit checks would be made at frames 4, 7 and 12.

IMO, dracs are wasted on a javazon that does not go into melee range often. the other mods on dracs are nice esp the plus to str but you can also go and 'id' every rare glove you find and you might just get a glove w/ +2 skills, 10-20 ias, str/dex, and if you're really lucky ll or ml. Of course there is always the crafting route.

Sorry to bring up a old post but it is stickied and I seek some answers relating to this.

On the weapon speed calculator-(standard attack)
30 % 11 2.2
52 % 10 2.5
89 % 9 2.7

with -10 javelins

yet after some in game tests with 50ias and 55ias both speeds looked the same. So if what RTB said is the real bps

"46 IAS 16 frames, 5 1/3"

it would make sense. To my eyes, the normal attacks are also the same speed as throwing the javs. In http://diablo.incgamers.com/forums/showthread.php?p=4342837&posted=1#post4342837 also stickied and states 52% is the throwing bp for 10 frames with -10 weapon speed javs which probably came from weapon speed calc too. Can someone clarify which one is off? I'm not 100% sure but I believe 46%ias is the bp but I only was relying on my eyes and sounds in game.
