sup guys, im going to start playin this game again and i wanted to know where could i find the latest concentrate barbarian guide by halciet.
the original guide is this one guide (http://strategy.diabloii.net/news.php?id=506)
but in the comments halciet says there is a quite newer version so i wanted to read it but i cant find it so if som1 knows the correct link please let me know.

I apologise for any mistake in my post. english is not my native language so maybe I made some (or a lot) mistakes.

The one listed in our guide thread in this forum is the latest version. A direct link to it is here (http://www.unc.edu/~jpurvis/conc/main.html). I haven't updated it with the newest runeword items that are available on ladder, but none of that really makes a difference to the build itself or the suggestions I make :)

i have the folowing question,is it true that LW pb is a realy good wep for conc barb using shield?I never had conc barb but i heard ppl saying it is really good due to huge cb + life tap +other mods ? Can LW pb reach the last break point for conc?

A LW phase blade isn't a bad weapon by any means, as it has great mods. The phase blade reaches 9 frames with 42% IAS, which you could get to by using highlord's and socketing your helm/shield with IAS jewels or something of that nature.

Problem being that phase blades have such low damage, that it won't be as effective as some of the higher-end weapons. It will still get the job done, however.

No it isn't a good weapon

the pathetic base damage of a phase blade results in a weapon with a very low average damage even if the base speed is good

the might aura is obsolete due to a might merc which your barb would have anyways

botd or beast beat it easily

That's called a maphack, which makes me wonder. Why play hardcore if you use maphack, it basically makes it softcore :O

Seems like a waste of time to me...

Pucho: the mf number is by the map hack.
Brandonw: yeah thats the map hack. but you are wrong. im not playing hardcore im on softcore.

btw: i dunno how things are on official servers ( i mean us east n us west) but here in argentina the map hack is not considered a *hack or a cheat* it is even used by sysops so dont think im a cheater :shocked:

well, it is a hack and a cheat, but if it's accepted in the server you are playing...
And don't accept it as if all argentinians use it, please. There are some that prefer to play legit.

i noticed that Hal's conc barb guide mentions fighting D Clone, but can this guide be viable in Uber Trist as well? and if so, can he solo or not? thanks

Conc barbs are arguably the best barbarian (besides a frenzier) to take against the ubers. You just need to make sure you're wearing dracs, and any other gear that is generally used against the ubers, and you should be able to pull it off.

If you were only thinking about damage, yes. But since Conc barbs are generally made for PvM, grief isn't a good choice, since BotD is vastly superior for PvM.
