Phonenix monarch. On what build?

Hi all!
So I've been quite impressed by Phoenix shield. I seriously think about dumping 4 HRs into it (I am going to make one, not trade for). If the shield is worth using, I got a few questions...
1) Max block or no max block? I personally like going almost base dex, but then you could call me a "glass cannon" =)
2) What build with this shield? I've been thinking of PvM Conc barb. Rest of my gear that I already have pretty high-level, too: eBotDz, Fortitude, CoH, Enigma, Arreats, Verdungos, dual leech/ar rings, barb torch (I sold like 5 of these when I didnt need them...luckily I can buy one cheap now or just run trist till one pops up :) ).

I figure I'd deal INSANE dmage with ebotd zeker (374%ed) + Fort + Phoenix + LoH (Dracs for life tap?) + Conc skill ed + weapon mastery ed *drool*
Maybe with some resist charms I can run UberTrist with this barb - it's kinda boring to rape ubers solo in 3 player game with cookie-cutter smiter.

I find spending 2 HRs on Beast is worth more than Phoenix. Dex wise, if you are going to pvp anytimein the future, i suggest you put enough dex to max block with a Stormshield.

As for ebotdz's dmg, worst 34ias griefz > best ebotdz.

correct also grief is much better than botd for duel also phoenix is a bad choice of shield becasue it will be hard to get max block and you will have to pump a hughe amount of dex into points which means you will sacrifice on point which could be better invested into life. Also Phoenix loacks the usefulll mods, apart form the dmg and ,res it lacks res, easy ability to get max block, Damage reduction and good defence. All of the reason mentioned are reasons why ppl use Storm over phoenix.

Thanks for the info, guess I'll make Beast (there's one HR + all other runes together might be worth a HR) and just use good old school Stromshield.

So Grief (I got 38 ias/3xx damage) >> eBotDz for any barb build? Guess I could trade my eBotDz for 2hr or just straight up for Beast?

the absolute crappiest grief in the absolute crappiest weapon that can make it and that can achieve -34 speed after grief bonuses will beat the absolute godliest botd

eg.

grief zweihander still beats eth botd zerker

grief takes any weapon and adds 300-400 to the minimum and maximum, making its average damage always higher than any one handed botd
