5 questions regarding 1.11

Just came back to new ladder season. The first time I tried to open a portal to the uber boss. I tried 3 hate keys in the rogue camp and was mad when it didn't work. LOL. I understand what I'm doing with the keys now.

I have 5 questions about the new patch and this ladder season

1) Which of the the uber boss the Lilith Duriel bunch is the toughtest? It seems to be Lilith from what I've seen.

2) Why is the orphan or organ set so highly valued. Seems to be worth an Ist in trade value?

3) Build or buy - Is it better to trade for items. Like a lo rune for Fortitude, which I did. Or is it better to try to build your own runeword. The reason I'm asking is that I'm getting ready to build or trade for a Faith. Also thinking of doing same thing with CTA. It seems to be cheaper to trade for item rather than build your own.

4) Which high rune holds its value the best. It seems to me that Jah, Lo, and Ber are the highest in demand. The reason I ask is if I trade for a higher rune I want to hold for value.

5) My merc - Seems to die from Poison sometimes. Can mercs die from psn. I know my life will hold at 1, making me easy to die. Do mercs work the same way?

Poison will kill minions, just like it kills monsters. They will die in town as well, so be sure to visit the resident healer.

Lo can be used to make grief and fort
Jah and Ber can be use to make enigma

Therefore, they are the highest in demand.

1) Lilith does raw, overpowering poison and meele dmg. She's fast as hell and regens like crazy. Even with a good smiter you might have trouble killing her. A good way is a mancer with revived poison immunes. Life tap her, have ur merc some slowing gear and let the smiter do the rest...

2) You mean Orphan right?
a) The helm is pretty popular for the CB and fhr. Smiter gear
b) The shield got the highest block ever. Some ppl just prefer to use it over something better just to save dex for max block. With an eld it can be really insane.
c) Belt isn't that great but dual leech is always nice
d) Gloves aren't that great too but they got 20% which is great for smiters
Anyway it isn't worth IST

3) Depends on stats. If u get low stats on an item it might be worth lot less that the runes it costs while perfect runewords can be worth 2 or 3 times what their runes are worth. Also don't forget the cost of the base item. A 15%ED archon can cost a good mis rune. Personally I buy my item since finding HRs on reasonable prices is kinda hard.

4) Jah and Ber are my 2 favorites. There are runewords that need mass of these ones

Yes lilith is by far the hardest of the 3 sub-ubers, as for uber tristram......well no tanks = dead bowazon and valk/revives/merc/whatever do backflips of death in uber tristram in about 0.2 seconds

I prefer to make my own runewords myself as well because hell pit runs (act 1 hell tamoe highland underground area) can get you multiple elite socketables items very easily and those are usually half the total price of a runeword if you trade for a runeword itself

I final question. Which I forgot to post after a late night of xmas wrapping is there a cube recipe to recharge the torch? I don't want to spend 440 K in gold to recharge it.

unless the regular charge replenish recipe works with torch no there isn't

Come on, 440k gold can be acquired with 15 minutes of meph runs. Since you never use those hydras anyways, it is a 1 time fee.

All my Torches are always fully charged out of the box though... what's up with that? O=

The whole Organ/Key pricing deal is a mystery to me, but apparently, keys vary from Lem to Pul, depending on the seller, with multiple "lesser" keys needed to match the value of "higher" keys as well (i.e. 3 Terror = 1 Destruction). I'm not sure why, but single organs hover at Um, and since you need three for a set, 3 Ums = Ist. :P

As long as the HR in question isn't Vex, Cham, or Zod, it shouldn't be too shifty with its value. ;D

Or you are talking about a different character. Sounds like a sorc or paly. With my bowazon, who I think kicks ***, I don't know if I can do one run in 15 minutes. I don't maphack. I'm a zon so I don't tele either. Takes a long time thats why I was hoping for recharge way instead of cash.

As far as rushing forges, man that's tough.

I want to get those Hydras charges before I go to uber trist, just in case. I used all the hydras when I rushed another person in hell at level 77. That sucked up the hydras.

Do hydras help in uber trist?

I would guess the dmg from unsynergized hydras would be no help in act 1 hell let alone uber tris :P

Even with a sorc, hydra doesn't exactly do enough damage...... What makes you think that your unsynergized, no fire mastery hydra can kill anything pass blood moar?

If you are planning to use your bowie in trist, good luck. I haven't heard any successful solo accounts yet. Everything I seem to heard (and seen, as well as do) involves a pally smiting them. (well, some other classes like barb and necros can do it too, but not with the same budget as a 1 point smiter)

Most of us have more than 1 char. Sorc for rush/mf, pally for trist, rest for general PvM.
