K, well im in the process of gettin full ik set. dont know if i should use full ik set but lemme know. I was wondering what kidn of babr build would be best for gear being IK. Or if anything is good. also, if i shouldnt use ALL of ik then what should i replace those spots with?
i have
Ik helm , Ik boots , Ik belt , and IK maul process of finding rest. :P

Most people (including me) use whirlwind with IK set, the build would be:

20 WW
20 BO
20 shout
20 mace mastery
1 battle command
rest into iron skin
prerequistes

And yes if you are gonna use Ik it would be best to use all the pieces :xmas30:. To fill in the remaining spots the two rings are usually ravefrost and bul kathos' wedding band, and for the ammy either highlord's rath and if you need AR then go for metal grid.

Anything that doesn't require dual weapons. Standard Whirly is probably the best. Drop 2 Shael/IAS jewel into the maul and off ya go.

IK Armor isn't THAT expensive. True, it's the most expensive piece of the set but it's still affordable if you work at it. Collect PGems, trade them in bulk for mid runes, then trade those for your IK Armor.

well how many pgems for what runes? i gto pgems up theass just need runes i guess. dunno much about rune trading :\ well yeah if u can tell me which runes to trade for my pgems then get ik armor :D. big help :]

You can try and find that out in the trade value forums.

Generally accepted prices on Europe Ladder (sc) are:

~35 pgems = pul
~70 pgems = um

This will require some patience though... so take your time, and you can do it :)

Collecting pg's is a waste of time imo. Just do hellforge quest on nm and hell and with good luck you can get gul and um rune :xmas30:

Ik Barbs are Fairly poor in Pvp, But they can do well in Pvm in Hell If built right and Played correctly. Yes I suggest Using the characters Hellforge on Nm and Hell To get the Ist/Mal Rune for the Ik Soulcage.

aight so when im makin the barb 'doin the forges n stuff' i should HOPEFULLY get those runes and trde em for armor? right? hopefully i get the runes i need :P thnx gvuys didnt think of that :xmas17:

Yess, Btw what is the lowest and hghest rune possible on the hellforge on Hell, Mine was a Hel rune and highest was a Mal

For Hell Hellforge, lowest is Hel and highest is Gul.
