Leap: worth maxing?

I am making a Monk. He is going to use a Passion weapon, for Zeal and Berserk. So he will not spend any points in the Combat Tree (except Leap and maybe Leap Attack).

Now I need to know, is Leap a skill worth maxing? (not Leap Attack) What does it do when maxed? I have heard something about stun but...

for pvm, I wouldn't bother maxing it - but for pvp, I did.

Morotsjos and I was discussing the same thing, what leap level covers whole screen and so forward. I cannot seem to find the answer on what level leap that covers corners aswell -.-, he's gonna max it leap, I don't really want to max it since it knockbacks ppl that aren't in my radius...
