Light Java Skill Question

Hey just a few questions about my light java.

Ok, so I'm lvl 83, maxed LS LF and CS, have pierce at 70%, D/A/E all between 44 and 50%, and have a lvl 17 valk. Now I do plenty of lightning damage, so I dont want to start dropping points into powerstrike, which leaves the passive tree. So should I start putting more points into my valk, or more points into D/A/E? Or any other options? Also whats more important for a shield, more res or more block?

My current gear is:

Titans / tiamats with thunderstroke/whitstans on switch
Upped Viper with um
Shako
Laying of Hands
Aldurs boots
Thundergods
Raven and Manald
Cats eye

you can spend 5 points in the bow tree and come out with a pretty decent Straifer on switch....A high level Valk is an insane tank...
Also you are better off with a +2 jav skill 20 ias gloves instead of Laying of hands, test it out decide what you like better.

Thanks for the reply. About the gloves, its all I had really, only started about 2 and a half weeks ago after a long break. Can you buy +2/20% gloves at merchants? If so where?
