So enlighten me, which do you prefer for pvp?

Matriarchal for PvP. It's faster than GMB so it frees up a lot of items you would have to otherwise dedicate to IAS.

yeah, im a fan of the matriarchal too. back in the old days when we didnt have this faith nonsense i was using cruel matriarchal bow of evisceration with 2 40/15 ias. that thing owned.

but, i wanna know what the majority of pvp bowazons prefer

I like speed and being very flexible with equipment so the Mat Bow is my choice for PvP.

Since I don't do "pro" duelling I preffer GMB because it's useful for PVM as well :p. Faith MB just doesn't do enough dmg for PVM but it does have a tighter dmg spread and provides more equipment options for duellors (like COA or Dungo...).

So I'd say unless you know what you're doing, GMB isn't a bad start.

I prefer the gmb huge damage in comparison to the pathetic faith mat. Still only takes 95 ias total for 7 frames. Also what else would you use the space for resists? 1 hit your dead with 900 life, dr? good luck against charge and some of the otehr attackers. Ww strikes an average of 4 times so 1 of them is going to hit you even if you have block.

it may sound weird but my old bower had 3k life and had good d/a/e
and you dont let a barb come near to you as you got superior speed to a baba so run shoot run shoot simple? or if youre hybrid use titans instead of harmony :)

faith mb 14 aura = 44-45 ias if i am right to get 7 fpa

so a 120/45 would be enough and as you use highlords/cats amu anyway you have laready 6x ias...

so whats open?
armor: forti
gloves: draculs (lifetap lub it) (its pubby so who cares? smiters use it also)
verdungo (life/replenish/dr/fhr)
rings: dual raven 20 dex
boots: wt/gores

how would i be able to achieve 7fpa

I guess this data concerning the Grand Matron Faith is assuming one uses Guided arrow or Multishot ???
Strafe doesn't need that much IAS, I don't think...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think only 35-39% extra IAS depending on what level fana is on the GMB faith, to reach maximum speed (12.5/sec).

yea for strafe gmb is the way to go but as for pvp i believe that mat is better. Speed/Flexability is much more important to me than have just the speed/damage but can't handle certain types of opponents.

the best aura faith will still require 85%+ (not sure of exact amount) external IAS to reacha 7/2 strafe

around 45-50 something % for 7/2 strafe with a faith mat

Ahhh really ? Hmm, weird, I guess I'm not using that weapon speed calc correctly then... it has an option to include Fanaticism, and with a lvl 12 fana using strafe the table looks like this:

IAS___Frames per attack___Attacks per second
0 %___3_________________8.3
39%___2_________________12.5

Doesn't this mean you only need 39% extra IAS to reach max attack speed? A similar calculation worked perfectly fine for my smiter (using a lvl 22 fana).

I kinda wanna know because I'm trying to save up for a GMB Faith for my strafer (right now using a harmony matriarch, which needs 60%).

This has been tested, even a perfect aura faith mat bow requires more than 39% IAS for a 7/2 strafe

From my own personal experiences my 14 aura faith hit a 8/2 strafe with
50 equipment IAS, and no i'm not blind/hallucinating

well for the crappiest aura faith mat you would probably need 45-50% IAS for a 7/2 strafe

a common setup to get this is laying of hands + nos coil + cat's eye

how much ias then do you need to reach 7/2 with lvl 15 fana GMB?

Using the German ias calculator, I would need 95ias. Is this correct?

My sources would have to be 20 gloves, 20 ammy, 45 helm, 15 armor (skullders).

90 something IAS sounds about right for a 7/2 strafe with a faith GMB

you need to remember that the EIAS difference between a 12 aura faith and 15 aura faith is very small

to get 95 (if that's what you actually need) i would recommend

20 gloves
10 belt
20 ammy
45 from treachery

a 7/2 strafe with MF equipment is difficult to put together for a GMB
