I was poking through bnet and came across that bs is physical and I was wondering since its phy does amp double ur damage, when bs hits it? http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/normal/urings.shtml at the bottom of this link when describing natures peace it states its phy and in the description in amp it states it increases corpse ex damage http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/skills/necromancer-curses.shtml I was wondering is this was true for Bone spirit. Any help is appreciated.

Bone spells are magic damage, therefore amp, decrepify and lower resist will do NOTHING.

Corpse explosion is physical and fire damage (50/50), so all those curses will help.

So when blizzard says on their web on the above link at the bottom "Nature's Peace: "Slain Monsters Rest in Peace" means that the bodies can't be resurrected or they can't be used to raise skeletons (Necromancer). They can't be used for Corpse Explosion either. It will work only if you kill the enemy with a physical damage or elemental (Blizzard or Fireball) and not magical damage. FYI: Necromancer Bone Spirit is a physical attack. The ring will work for the Paladin's Blessed Hammer skill." They are wrong?

I don't know blizzards website, but bonespirit is magic, not physical, so if they say it's physical then they are wrong.

They have the power to change the facts to fit the manual/website, of course :-) However, the facts haven't changed yet...

EDIT: I doubt the rest in peace mod cares what damage was used, so it should work with bonespells as well. Haven't tested it, though --- I had Nature's Peace on a bowazon, and she only used magical damage when needed.

What the guys at the AS mean, but somehow managed to convey in a manner most inappropriate, is that as far as the "Slain Monsters Rest In Peace" mod is concerned Bone Spirit falls under the "Physical Damage" category. This doesn't mean that BS actually does physical damage. All this says it that when you hit something with your BS and Slain Monsters Rest In Peace is in effect corpses will be unusable. BS still does normal Magic damage.

How wrong can it be? Blessed Hammer is 100% magical. The type of dmg does not matter with Slain Monsters Rest In Peace.
