View Full Version : Help with Bone/Summon MFer

Hey peeps I need help with a Bone/Summon Necro I plan on making. I know to max Bone Spirit and Bone Spear, max Skeleton Mastery and rest into Bone Prison, and 1 point into Decripify and Bone Armor, but what I'd like to know is should I max Raise Skeleton? Should I even bother with Revive? Or should I just go a few points into RS and Revive and then max Bone Wall, or Teeth?
Is Bone Necro still good without the Marrowwalk bug?
The items I have so far are: Shako, Skullders, +1 Necro Skills ammy, Arm Of King Leoric, Trang's Gloves, and Homonculus = +11 to Summon skills, +7 to P&B skills, and +10 to Curses
Oh I forgot to ask, does Decrip take away PI?

Decrepify CAN break physical immunity. It removes 50% physical resistance, which means it removes 10% from immunes.
Bonemancers still work, of course. However, I doubt that hybrids will be very effective; I would probably only put 1 poiint in Revive to get some protection, which would free up more points for bone synergies. "White" and (unless you have other boots) Marrowwalks can supply the Skeleton Mastery.

Ok I've figured out what to do (bare with me): Max all Bone Synergies but 1...rest into last skill after other skills. Put 1 in to all Summons (except Fire Golem) 1 into Decrip, Amp, Weaken, Terror, Confuse & 1 into Dim Vision. (DM worth it? Never tried it, but heard it works.) Now for the last Bone skill to put points into it's a toss up between Teeth & Bone Wall (13 points will only go to this skill)
Could this still be effective to mf in hell at the usual spots and do Baal?

If I were to choose I'd go with bone wall for a couple reasons.
1. Bone Wall synergizes your bone spells and bone armour.
2. Bone wall can buy you a second or 2 from getting mobbed, teeth isn't going to do that.
3. Bone wall also boosts your prison.
Bone wall then a quick dim then confuse can buy you a few steps, bunch them up, then you can spear away from a better angle to use the pierce.
That little tactic has saved my backside a few times, gave me time to slurp some blue red or purple, or give me a bigger lead during a tactical retreat.
