Worried about my Kicker~

Hi.

I am rebuilding the kicker I did over the last weekend becaus I kinda messed up her attribute destribution quite badly.

My conserns are regarding my ability to PvP properly with the poor equipment I have available.

I am using a StormShield,
Jade Talon (With P Amethyst),
Vampires Gaze
Ravenfrost
Crafted ring and crafted ammy (+2 shadow mastery, life leech, +all res..)
Upped Goreriders
Duress*
Thundergods Vigor
Trang Oul's Claw

I had problems with my attack rating, which in most cases got almost never through the defence of melee ppl ( I know kickers are 'mageslayers' but I do think they should be able to kill melee stuff too.. eh..). That is why I stick the PAmmethyst into the Jades.. I know I can increase the ammount of AR quite a bit with charms, thanks to the % increase of Dtalon..

What about my Helmet? (Suggesting CoA is not a good joke..)

Should I dump my Jade Talons and try to get Deaths Web? If yes, then what is a Deaths Web worth on the market?

If I do dump my Jade talon, I'll lose the +res ( I didnt have max res even with it..) so it will hurt... I'll need lotsa charms/anni/torch..

Should I change my belt for a Verdungo?

Now that my Gore Riders are upgraded, they fall into the Myrmidons- class. Does it also mean they do the same damage now that a pair of Shadowdancers would? I really prefer the mods on Gores over the Dancers.. even though they have the + skills...

Duress.. mmm.. what can I say... its the best runeword armour I could come up with..

Oh.. one more thing.. Shadowmastery or Martial Arts skillers? Which would benefit me the most... (I assume SM becaus of the boost to Venom..? )


I really cant afford anything expensive.. My most valuable thing is a Mal rune, and I'm so bad in trading, that I'm afraid to use it.
My Hammerdin, which I use for mf, is extremely slow becaus he doesnt have Enigma for teleporting, and I'm frustrated to death with the countless mf runs I've done with no proper drops.

What I like about the game is PvP.. I was away for a year, and just came back 4 months ago.. have been mf'ing every day, for many hours daily, with nothing.. I just can't live without PvP anymore..


What do you people say?

ik belt is a good substitute for tgods if ya resists hurt...

are u using fade of Bos? always make sure ya got enough ias for kicking...
and yes get some ar charms...ive just realised every 20sc you add gives almost 200 to AR...thus a 100+gc gives 1k AR...woot...mines a lil over 10k with lvl 27 dtalon...cant wait till i get a beast... :clap:

anyways for hitting melee melee chars, theres always a problem...maybe you wanna try a fleshripper? its fast and its got -def...im lvl 80 and ive tested on a friends lvl 85 pally and managed to land some kicks...

and for pvp, dancers "might" be better since ur already got 50CB and 33?OW(kinda low) upped gores are nevertheless still good...

use trangs for prebuff and switch to draacs for more OW...OW is kinda impt for PvP...

hmm helm...if you dont need the skills, (remember 6skills/kick) gualliams or nats helms are good and cheap...unless you can get a nice rare circlet like mine...hehe...

Its just.. IF I take my Gores off for a pair of Dancers, I lose quite a bit of CB and OW..
Also Fleshripper seems like a very nice thing to have, but then I would lose the + res from Jades and also the +skills on em.. I think it would hurt me too much..

erm...imo, for an assasin, especially for pvp, shadow skills>martial, thus the skills on jade if only shadow skills are impt, use 2 pairs of +3 shadow skills on switch to get +6 to venom, fade/BoS, shadow/master...thats what I do...

and if the ma skills that jade dosent grant another kick(6lvls/kick), I think its alreght to drop em...and you also dont need too much resists against all characters, you only need resists against casters, who wouldnt have high def, while melee chars seldom deal massive elemental damage (less dream using/javazons but these wouldnt have too much def either)...

end of the day, its hard to have just 1 set of equipment to deal with all classes in PvP...you gota get used to switching equipment according to opponents...

just my 2 cents...

Just got me Shadowdancers for a Pul (only +1 skill) and a Shadow skiller for another Pul.
Only lvl 47 at the mom, and already have 3k more AR than my lvl 78 had.

We'll see how it goes :)

If you realy lack for attack rating, use your crafted amy to cast venom and skills and switch for the classic angelic combo.

Angelic amy and ring(s), a lot of pvp caracter use these since its cheap and very effective.

Don't forget that life leech beside from lifetap is basicly useless in pvp. So using the angelic combo over life leech rings for dueling is a good thing.

You might even consider using the angelic weapon with the jewelry, with 3 items of the set( using 2 rings still count like using 2 items) the swords gets +30% ias and the amy would grant you 1 more skill that you might need to get 1 more kick.

Beside don't forget that it might be a much better think to have kicks that lands then having a multitude of kick that barely hit your opponent.

yea...it happens...try stocking on some decent ar charms...
I had a pleasent surprise when my AR suddenly jumped up by so much when I added abt 200ar worth of ar charms(100+gc, 40+lc, 2X20sc) and my dtalon AR jumped to over 10K! I believe if I were using angelics combo or even metalgrid if I can get 1, it will be sky high... :clap:


btw do u use fade or BoS? if fade, u can ditch the vamps since ur using SS...but take care of ur ias ya since I dont see any anywhere...

as for BoS, Im not very sure since Im not a very big fan of it...

chamed shako(so you can wear 2 angelic rings)
bramble
deaths web wand /w psn die facet
trang's gloves
bered ss
aracnid
shadow dancers
angelic rings and ammy

you need 9x shadw gcs(with life if possible)
9x vita scs and 1 x vita sc with fhr(to reach 86 fhr bp with gear above)

You seem to be lacking max kick speed there Izanami. That can be fixed with 15%+ ias somewhere in your setup if you don't mind the compromise of a socket slot somewhere. That setup looks good for a melee dueling (nonkvk) kicksin otherwise. :thumbsup:

How much hp are you getting with that type of setup?

Also, if you don't mind me asking, what realm do you play on and if east nl, what's your kicksin's name?

i play on lod east nl, my acc is el-diabl0, my kicker is el-athena for now, but im remaking her so the name might change.

her kick speed reaches 9/3/3/3/3/3 when I use bos but if I wanted to make it 7/3/3/3/3/3 (fastest it can go) then I would need more ias. I think I would need a total of 180 something ias to hit that speed, i might be wrong. I would need a 6 shaeled pb or something like that to reach that speed. For kvk I just put on a guled andys. It's more effective to use ma charms in kvk because most kickers have crazy psn res anyways if they use bramble. I have 2.5k hp for my kicker right now if I can aford more shadow lifers then I think I can pump it up to about 3k.

Nah, check the ias tables thread, 15% ias needed with dweb at slvl 15+ BoS to reach max kick speed. Fairly easy to get.

Yeah, gul'd andys owns in kvk, although at this point I consider it to be somewhat bm, I prefer dueling kvk without it. However in my experience too many kvk opponents build andy's 30 str into their build, meaning I have to use andys as well against them, it's just too crippling for one player to use it and not the other. So I keep a gul'd andys in my stash as well. >.>

Speaking of kvk, up for some duels? I play nonmelee style kvk though, pure enigma build. /w *Zaiychik

You may consider kiras helm for resits boost, and also has the cannot be frozen mod, what allows you to use 2 angelics rings+ammy. Another nice and cheap helm is Guillaems Face, a lot of CB, and some DS and strengh. I would put ias jewel on both.

Duress is a great armor if u cant afford enigma, bramble or 4 faceted armor. Put ias jool on jades, dont ametist :). Have in mind too, bartucs boosts ur Ar nicely, and have a very nice mods (Um them up if u can).

I suggest all cheap items, as you can see.
