If you kill a boss with traps like Mephisto, do you still get your MF? or is it taken down since traps are consider'd "minions"

I'm pretty sure you still get your MF, but if not, correct me. I haven't used my Asn in such a long time, not to mention my only Assassain is a Kicker.

MF counts if you kill something with a trap.

MF doesn't work on bosses? Go tell that to all those people that load up on MF and run Andy and Meph.

... it works just fine on normal drops - though I am not positive about the "Quest Drops" available on bosses. There are certain chests it does not work on either, iirc... though you'll want to read the Item Generation Tutorial in the Statistics forum for a better answer.
