Best possible Kicker...equip, stast, and skills

I don't want a hybrid - just a kicker...What are the best possible skills to max? What are the best options for skill allocation - to fit with the best armor/weaponry to equip? Cost is no issue...just - I wanna know the best. lol

Yes, there is the best...I did not generalize - I stressed for Kicking/Martial Arts - therefore there IS a best. There is a best Zealot pally...I never said the best assassin - I said the best kicker. Specific, so hopefully people like you wouldn't try to look cool, as if you 'owned' the board...go find something useful to do with your time if you're not posting to help people.

Assuming it's PvM, here's more or less the equipment and stats I'd pick for a TS/DT Assassin:

20 Tiger Strike
20 Dragon Tail
20 Venom
20 Shadow Master (Optional)
10 Burst of Speed
1 Blade Fury
1 Mind Blast
1 on prereqs
Finish at 94

As for stats, I'm having a debate over myself - get 200 Str and Vit and leave Dex at 100, or get 175, 150, 200? I still don't know about this, but AR is kind of important for charging, plus Dragon Tail's AR isn't that great compared to other skills.

Now for the equipment, you might like the Chaos Runeword, I dunno- it does do more damage on charging, but Bartuc's got more AR. So:

-Bartuc's and Jade Talon
-Crown of Ages, socket it with whatever
-Highlord's, Mara's or Metalgrid. Maybe Mara's is best, but Metalgrid has AR
-Chains of Honour Runeword: your defence may not be too great. If you can find another armor that gives you high resist AND with similar mods like this one, I'd use that one instead. :p
-Steelrend's or Dracul's Grasp. The first let's you do more damage. The second one makes you invincible as long as you attack. :p Trang-Oul maybe?
-Arach or Verdungo's. I like +skills, but some people like DR.
-Shadow Dancers or upped Gore Riders for boots
-Ravenfrost? SoJs? BK?


This covers your resists and makes you deal pretty nice damage. I'm still pending on how your Venom will deal with PIs, but other than that, you should be good to go. If my Natalya Set DT/TS Assassin with NO Venom was able to solo hell, then this one should do it as well.

First of all, the best is what you enjoy the most. Obviously you are a power-player and want pure power. It doesn't matter if it's ugly, boring, or just plain broken, you want the power.

The TS/DTail build is slower than a "pure" kicker build. I put the "pure" in quotes because Talon is slow and painful by itself. You need Death Sentry to even consider playing with it. This setup is for PvM.

2 Mind Blast (leave at 1 if you don't want your shadow to cast)
1 Cloak of Shadows
1 Blade Fury
1 Dragon Flight (optional)
1 BoS (your main aura)
2 Fade (to give your Shadow a clue)

Jah'd Stormlash (LW is for hybrids or Uber Trist where you need the Life Tap)
Stormshield
Switch: CTA/Spirit (for teleporting and BO)
Guillaume's Face (socket with something juicy)
Enigma
Dracul's gloves
Arachnid's Mesh
Up'd Gores
Maras (or crafted skill/resist/fcr)
Ravenfrost
FCR/ML combo ring with as many other nice stats as you can find

Charms
Hellfire
Anni
Finish up 86 FHR and max resists
Life and elemental damage for the rest (no skillers)

Heh, you did generalize since there are many types of kickers. "Best" is also a very flexible term when it comes to diablo, especially when it comes down to something like a kicker. As ilkori said, best is what you enjoy the most. ;)
