Kicks - CB on 2nd Claw

I was reading the kicking basics and it lists what works with the kicks and then says these dont work from second claw.
I noticed that my only Mana Leech is on my second claw (and I made sure it was put on second) and it works! So what does work with the second claw? I wanna use either +magic damage or CB.
Does anyone have answers??

I don't know what happened for sure but if i was asked to guess, i would say that you probably took off your primary claw, while your secondary claw remained equiped, than you re-equiped you primary claw. If this is what you did, then what happen was: you re-set your secondary claw to primary claw without noticing. That's why mana leech worked i think.

Leech can xfer between claws, but most other mods cannot. I can't remember the source of that at the moment, but there were some other qualifiers in there as well.

I've never heard of actual leech transferring to kicks from both claws, except once as a graphics glitch where the swirls were showing but no leech was happening.

So I'd guess either that, or that the secondary claw was actually primary (probably from force-equipping then weapon switching) or that there was another source of mana leech somewhere.

The first two seem more likely.

edit: You know, I do vague remember someone talking about seeing actual mana leech from a secondary Jade Talon. The person sounded credible, and I don't think it was ever resolved.

Well, I know well how to equip a primary weapon (I always take the jade off and then re-equip it). When I was using the firelizards I even checked the char screen to see the higher damage from fire on top (when in normal attack). I DEFINATELY believe that "credible" person if they say their jade was leeching. Check it out for your self if u can. While your at it, try to give me a little credit for knowing what I'm doing. : )
