ive been expirimenting a lot with a lot of different character builds for pvp. most unsuccessful, mostly because people absorb so much. however i figure if i use something with mass poison, it will be decent. however a poisonmancer would be very hard to use in pvp, because u have to be close to the enemy to hit them.

so after a while, i come up with this build. its a kicker/blade sin, who uses venom as the primary damage, and dragon flight/blade fury/blade shield to deal the damage.

here is what i have so far:
skills:
20 venom
20 dragon flight
20 blade fury
20 blade shield
1 prerequisits
unsure about the rest (probly fade, due to lack of resistance from gear)

stats:
str: enough for gear
dex: enough for block
vit: rest
eng: none

charms:
torch
anni
9x shadow gcs

gear: death's web with 5/5 poison
shield: 4x5/5 poison monarch or stormshield (not sure if dr or psn is better)
boots: shadowdancer for +2 shadow, and kick damage
gloves: trang for 25% psn skill damage
belt: dungo or arach (not sure if 1 skill or 15 dr + vit is better)
helm: shako 5/5 poison or 3x5/5 helm (coa would be best, but rather not get)
ammy: angelics
rings: angelics

play style:
for targets who are far away, use blade fury. generally used on melee chars.
for sorcs or other low-defense casters, dragon flight.

melee chars will probly be fairly hard, because of their high defense. so blade shield will deal some decent damage when they strike.

please tell me if this build would be worth making for pvp. (advantages/disadvantages)!

Dragon Flight and Blade Fury are just fine with 1 point. And i doubt Blade shield it's worth maxing. Your gear seems to follow the "standard" so it's probably ok. Just make sure you have enough IAS to reach a decent breakpoint with Death's web because it's a fairly slow weapon.

does blade fury use ias? i tried lots of cast/ias on single player, and it was the same speed.

#1 - Blade Fury and Blade Shield are SO not worth spending more than 1 point, ESPECIALLY Blade Fury. The only possible reason you will want to spend more in Blade Shield is for extra duration.

#2 - Max Dragon Flight is good. It really boosts up the damage if you plan on using it as the main damage source. Might I recommend getting Tiger Strike? There are a few stray monsters in duels; if you can charge up that up 3 times and then Dragon Flight them, with the Venom damage... OH BOY!

#4 - DR is better. Don't count on their resists. It's the flaw with Cold Mastery - sure it decreases their resistance, but that doesn't stop them from adding more. Don't bet on affecting the enemy, put stuff that affects yourself. Of course, you could always carry a switch. Melee = DR. Sorcs = minus resist.

#5 - Burst of Speed is teh win. If you can outrun the melees, they can't get you, even if you can't beat them. But that's up to you.

#6 - Blade Fury sucks PVP. :/ Even with added Venom damage. It's like a Bowazon, without Guided Arrow, doing 3x less damage!

Advantages:
If you get TS, this is like, the PERFECT anti-Necromancer build, because if they prison you, you can charge on their bone walls and simply 1-hit them with DF.
If they don't have high HP, you win. The Sorcs better have Energy Shield...

Disadvantages:
OMG anything with over 10k defence kills you. :p Assassins just don't have the HP to take hits.

I tried a Venom, Tiger Strike, Dragon Flight PVP Assa once, and even though I had so much fun, I didn't have Shadow Dancers, so he sucked, had less than 800 life, about 4k defence, and was TOTALLY relying on there being something for him to charge his TS on. Dragon Flight with just Venom as damage I don't think cuts it for PVP.

is it possible to get dragon flight to 1-hit any caster?

and i thaught about the venom, not sure if this calc is correct:
2000 damage (about) divided by 1/4 pvp penalty = 500 damage, divided by resistance (if 75%, 1/4) = 125 damage over .4 seconds, which is nothing. is that calc right?

I never trusted poison in calcs... :/

As for getting Dragon Flight to 1-hit any caster... Necros, MAYBE. But the thing is you get Necros with enough +skills to get their 1-point Bone Armor to like slvl 20, and that really gets in the way. :/ But in general, I don't think a lot of them can survive a fully Tiger Strike-charged maxed Dragon Flight with Venom.

Now Sorcs have their wretched Energy Shield, which gets very annoying very quickly.
A tip with Sorcs... Most of them have teh CRAP FHR!!! So get something with CBF, and after you DF her, just start charging Tiger Strike on HER and release with Dragon Tail. She'll be dead for sure. You will hit so fast she will be pinned to the spot.
And I guess since you have Blade Fury, you can weaken her up a bit before DFing her. :p

btw what armor you gonna use ?

on my ww/kicker i've maxed DF but now these days you wont hit anything :(
200% fcr's soso's are just to fast to hit, and a bone or summon necro you can't hit at all :( even with : 2xAnglic combo, enchant(demonlimb) and maxed DF. and when you hit them, they got 75% block so 1/4 chance to do dmg..

also DF is vrry buggy, most of the time it wn't go up at all.
this is why i used enig on kicker ( you can't rely on DF imo )

But if you still want to use DF i recommand to use chaos. when DF misses you could hit with ww.
