I just started playing again and I want to make a Sorc thats good at PVP and PvM I remember long ago Blizz sorcs were pretty good at PvP and owned PvM what about nowadays? If not what is good for PvP?

Blizz sorc is good when u do bosses (andy,meph,pindle) and also very lame pvp, nobody cant hardly absorb blizz.

Blizzard sorcs are great in pvp vertually umlimited range and huge damage. Only downside is you have to know how to aim.

Lets just say this. I was in a chaos game and a decked out hammerdin hostiled me. He tele'd up to me so i blizzed, tped, and went to town. About half a second later he died. :lol: He might have run into 2 of my bliz's since I had been killing monsters with it but eh, still. BLIZ RULES!!!!!!! :clap:

Blizz can be extremely powerful in casual PvP.

How does Blizzard have large range? I thought it was limited to your screen, unless you scroll.

Name lock. Just like assn's mb. You can get MB'd when you're 2-3 screens away.

When they run away, thinking they'll be safe when you're off their screen. A blizz suddenly appears.

Overall, I don't like blizz sorcs for PvP. They are extremely powerful but pretty much restricted to non tele melee unless you're really lucky or good at aiming.

Basically, if you time your Blizzard right, it'll pay off. It does suck that you can't Tele and Blizz at the same time. Also, you can almost own any kind of Barb with Blizzard. It's slightly funny to watch the Barb's Tele or walk into the Blizzard.

O-M-G. I'm going to make a blizzard sorc now. Seriously, I never knew this. I always assumed scroll. Actually I'm an idiot for not putting 2 and 2 together...if it works with scroll then obviously with blizz.

Think it's cause although I used to be a good MB-er with my trapsin, my traps would never seem to go off if I namelock them (thus I had to MB, tele, trap)

Going to try some blizzard sorc now. Xion puts up a good point, too, but with enough practice...damn it will be good to kill unprepared players. Even absorbing players may have a tough time. Talk about fun. It's like being an AWPer on CS.

I'll like to duel a blizz sorc with my baba. If the sorc just sit in their blizz, I'll pull out my widowmaker and get them down to 1life with it. :)
