Griswold Smiter?

Would the Griswold set work on a smiter for Uber Tristam? Any thoughts?

Seems that you don't get any CB from the set so Gore's would be a must. Even with that your only open slots would be ammy/ringx2, belt and gloves. Since you'd prob need dracs or at least a life tap wand on switch your best bet is getting you hands on a few ber's and Lo's and putting them in the 4 os Caduceus for 20% CB (ber) and/or 20% DS (Lo), but if you did that you'd have a lot of explaining to do because that totally goes against the "Xey conviction stick" project.

Could possibly get CB from Gloves/Boots, but as Halas said you wouldn't have a ton and if you use Ber's in the Caud, Xey will sick his minions on ya.

Maybe I'm not thinking of an ammy/ring/belt that would give ya the necessary CB, but it seems the most I can come up with without socketing the Caud would be ~35% and that's a tad low imho.

If only you could make Duress in the Armor socks =/

I was thinking of doing this last season but quickly decided against it. Like Halas said, using a full set that gives no bonus to CB is a major problem. The only slots left to gain CB are your boots (Gores only give 15%, Gobbies only give 25%), gloves (which really should be Drac's, so scratch that), and the weapon sockets (Ber runes in Gris Caddy? no thx).

Best Gris build is probably an Avenger, but even that would probably require some nice jewels for the sockets.
