is it possible to find an online calculator for this?

I mean how much life/mana should i have with lvl 20 es. lvl 28 es. 40 es.
Any way to find out?

Im planing on making a Lightning sorc for pvp with lvl 40 es (absorb 95%)
but is it worth it as ill have about 1.2k life anyway with base vita.

Would it be better to go maybe lvl 32 es? since i will loose less mana and
the life is there anyway.

I have experimented with ES a little bit. I did make a sorc that had lvl 40 es, and she put all points into mana. With over 1000 life and 4000 mana, I felt that my mana would run out too fast. I am redoing her, but this time putting 1 in ES, 20 in telekinesis, and pump up warmth, and maybe a couple points in ES depending on how fast my life and mana goes down.

I donīt think, that a maxed e-shield with low life good for duelling. Poison and open wounds bypass e-shield and you would be an easy picking for most meleer and poison user.

Thats why i would like to see a calculator....

Best case scenario would be if life and mana dropped at the same speed....

I have seen some pretty simple equations to figure this out, no such calculator, but you can do it yourself. I will dig around for them, however, you will need a lot more information besides just tk and es levels. All additional Life/Vitality, Mana/Energy, DR, MDR, Resists, Absorbs, come into play if you want to find the perfect balance between mana and life.

Yes, i know this. Guess i just were to lazy to write it....

Anyway, i did some searching for those equations but diddent find any thing.
Could you possible find them for me??

In its basic form, you can solve for the following equations to find out what the maximum amount of damage you can take for any one hit.

Assuming lvl20 TK, and lvl40 ES, and just taking MDR/DR and Resists into account.

Damage to Mana = Damage*(.95)*(.75)
Damage to Life = (Damage*(.05) - MDR/DR)*(1-Resist)

You can solve for X amount of damage. If you know all of your Life/Mana adders from gear and charms, you can then solve for the amount of stat points needed in both Vitality and Energy to achieve enough Life/Mana to take such a hit.

I believe that %Absorb, +Absorb, and %DR will alter the damage taken to life following the Resists, but in the same manner. Now this will only show you the max damage allowed per hit so its really still up to you on how safe you want to play it.
