Just lookin for some people to weigh in:

while rushing a friend through nm, baal drops that fabulous unique gilded shield (hoz, for the non-addicted).

first question: i don't need it, so should i ID it? i have a 186%ed on my pally, and anything above that is purely decorative...

second question: should i trade it (quite easily) for a soj, or HR's? chances are both are duped, and could poof any day.. or should i hold on to the shield in case there's the fabled "rust storm" and every dupe poofs? or, should i finally build that eth fortitude for my trusty merc, zanarhi? i actually could use the soj on my light sorc, by the way.

anyway, opinions/ideas would be nice.

I'd go for BK Rings(Less chance of a dupe) IMO MUCH better than Soj. Can't beat the LifeLeech and +added life :thumbsup:

though soj is better for casters (the 25%mana would help) i agree that bk's are probably not as commonly duped, cheaper, and i could use them for any other character..


i've decided to take a slightly different route and trade the hoz for an anni, which i could use -- any help in lvling would be nice.

could i get and X/X/10%?

im not sure what anni's go for, but if i may... i REALLY suggest you ID it.

AT LEAST you will get a HR, and AT MOST... GODLYYYYYYYYYY.

HRs are more viable in trades too.

Nowadays, *any* hoz can get you 2 ist, or a HR pretty easily (at least on us west ladder)

Dammit ive been argueing this with so many people. ID your items if you want to trade them. So sick of these folks pretending items are actualy worth more unid. I ain't buying something that "might" be what I want.

Also I just had this conversasion with a guy that wanted to trade his IST for HOZ+um+pul. WTF? He gave me this long winded speech about D2 economics and told me the value of HOZ has dipped due to the return of BOTS and MH.
And on that note I am very disappointed to see MH making a return to D2. I have had many in the last week using it during open games, which is often used for the MH'er to zip straight to the boss and take drops, leaving the rest of us honest types to fight through minions only to get there and see squat. With all the technology available, one would think that they could shut down hacks, bots, and dupes.
