Best thing to "Beast" up? O=;;

Yeah, you'll always know it's me when there's a face in the title. XD

So down to business (since I need to log off and homework...): What's the best weapon to "Beast" for a Trang's Summoner? O=

My strength rating is at a solid 136 after the addition from the 18 Torch, but I'm thinking of getting a War Spike for a little zing, since Zerkers are so overdone to me, even if they're superior. :P

Just need a few opinions from the "experts" to make sure I'm not doing something foolhardy. :)

I see it this way.

Either, you make a weapon for your summoner ONLY, that he will use for ever and ever etc. (Meaning you will never try to trade it away).
If so, use a weapon with low reqs. You should not pick a weapon that means you will have to spend additional statpoints somewhere to equip it.
War axes are popular :)

Or, you make one you perhaps one day will trade away. If so, your best bet is probably a Berserker Axe, since those are the most popular ones around.

Its all about your purpose really.
If you are about to choose the first alternative, you might also find a weapon that looks stylish, in order to look cooler. Sure, trangs set makes your looks an ugly vampire anyway, but if you plan to change it some day...

War spike sounds interesting. However remember that beast can also be put into scepters. With a Caduceus you get lower str requirement, higher average damage, same range, very fast speed. You need higher dex though.

That was my initial plan incidentally. I was going to look for a Caduceus with no staff mods, nonn-superior, and 5 sockets. Actually, hold on... they're the same speed. Great... now I'm not sure if I should hunt for a Caduceus of my desire or to just trade for this War Spike. XD

I'm kinda weird that way... I love my Trang's Fishymancer to bits, and there are times I "go commando" with him. Died to Hell Gloombats in City of the Damned like that once. ^^;;

I figure a decent weapon to put it in will be a nice change if I want to goof and *****slap something REALLY fast. :lol:

Edit: I have dex for max block, so :p . I can use it most anything that can be "Beastly."

I would still make it in a Berserker Axe, just in case you decide to use it for another char later in the future. Besides, the Berserker Axe requires 138 str to use; you already have 136. A single SC can take care of that.
